Novice questions: did you need a video capture card to export vids to your computer, or your computer already has firewire port, thus no need for video capture?
I have this camcorder, but I am having a bad time trying to export videos from it to my laptop in HD. I don't have firewire port, and hence, been told I need a capture card. Bought one, but the quality exported is bad.
What is the EASIEST FASTEST way to export videos from this cam with high definition like yours for example?
Don't use any method of deinterlacing - use the 24p options so you have a progressive frame rate. If you want less motion blur, increase the shutter speed rather than the frame rate. Hope this helps.
