  • thanks! i just got a K-2 meter & i just found out its a good idea to have a toggle switch haha

  • Thanx for sharing , very good info

  • Nice video... very informative. These directions work very well. It should be noted that some K-IIs have the branding on the top side of the board (not on the bottom where the solder points are). If the board is flipped over (face down)and the LEDs are to your left (big screw hole to the left)... The connections you're looking to solder would be the upper left and lower right solder points corresponding with the factory switch (bypassing the switch). Good luck and happy hunting!

  • do you think you could modify a gauss master meter to do a constant on like this?

  • should have just waited for the newer version of the k2 or do what TAPS do and jam a coin in the finger peice

  • Anal Wire Tuck lol. nah just kidding, I just bought a k2 and used your vid as a guid for the switch mod.

  • Just modified my K-2 Meter and it works great! It might look hard as I thought but it is very simple. Thanks for the step by step tutorial.

  • Mi-am pierdut timpul sa vad cum ai montat tu un rahat de buton mare cit pomana tiganasca. Sinteti o natie de terminati frate! KEEP THE GOOD JOB!!!

    Gizas cati inapoiati!

  • Great video. I modded my K-II using your video and it works perfect. Thankx!

  • "Now, Let me turn rite quick. I get emails askin me about the dagum hole." Hahaha, Hicks are funny! By the way, It's not a bolt on the toggle switch, it's a nut, you NUT! lol

  • "Now you need to hook you a battery up."

    *shakes head*

  • Thanks for the vid. I've been thinking about modding mine, but I have a question about the solder. Are you just melting the existing solder on the joint or just adding the wire and solder on top of the joint?

    -=The Prynce

  • just depends on how much solder is available, most of the time you can just melt what's there. It doesn't take an expert to add some more solder.

  • where do you solder the wires too?

  • I'm glad I watched this so I knew how to modify mine. Thanks for the info.

  • Awesome info.

  • great info dude

  • These meters only measure AC leakage! These DO NOT detect ghosts!

  • oh hush
