I'd really like it if Ardisson would start off by saying: "Hello, I'm Thierry Ardisson, and I'm gonna shut the fuck up for the rest of the show." What a rude, crude man.
@any0ne "or so"?Obviously, English isn't your first language.
And speaking of stupid, you fucking moron, he talks way more than he needs to and interrupts her. That was my point. If you can't understand something that fucking simple, don't bother responding to other people's comments, understood fuckface?
@ushiwakamaru30 You´re so right. The first 5 minutes he goes on a rant about how fantastic her new movie is and how honored he is to have her. I was like, dude shut the f.. up and then he goes on asking questions she cannot respond to because he´s obviously so full of himself he only wants to hear his voice. My god, he´s annoying.
@Jiskemarije Thierry Ardisson has always been my least favourite show host. Yes, he does give a voice to people other stations are too afraid to have on their shows, but he doesn't do it because he's open minded; he does it because he wants people to think "wow, that guy's awesome". Speaking of which, it is on his show that Eric Zemmour said that 80% of drug dealers in France are Blacks and Arabs, and that employers shouldn't feel bad about hiring people from those ethnic groups.
@ushiwakamaru30 I completely understand. Something has happened to the trade they call journalism. It´s all about getting good ratings and selling commercials around high profile programmes and they find guests to say disgusting things with this new found racism we have got going on in Europe. When did the interviewer become more important then the person being interviewed? I didn't really know the show, but I am a huge fan of Ms Huppert, that's how I came across this one. Nice meeting you, btw
@Jiskemarije Nice to meet you too, and I too am a HUGE fan of Isabelle Huppert :)
What's your favourite Huppert movie? I'd have to say her performance in La Pianiste was outstanding, I felt the movie itself was too...shocking. I loved her in L'ecole de la chair (the school of flesh). Beautiful actress!! Actually, she takes top stop in my list of best actresses of all time. So underrated.
@ushiwakamaru30 Oh God, now you really got me going :) Definitely La Pianiste, one of my favourite movies. I think my mouth was opened with aww for about three days afterwards. She was also great in 8 Femmes, I loved her with her daughter in Copacobana. Les soeurs fachées was also great and she did this incredibly bold thing of doing Ma Mère which was one of the most shocking and yet intriguing movies I've ever seen. I totally agree, best actrice of all time!
@Jiskemarije Ooo, you got a couple movies on your list that've been dying to see but couldn't find anywhere. It's really hard to find the movies you're looking for here in Canada, especially the good foreign films. It took me 6 months to find Bicycle Thieves (1948). I will try to watch 8 femmes and Ma Mere, but I doubt I will be able to find the latter. Will let you know how I like it.
@ushiwakamaru30 Yeah, cool let me know. Just a warning for Ma Mère, though, it's way more shocking then La Pianiste :) 8 Femmes is hilarious, very theatrical musical movie thingy, well kind of hard to explain, but you'll enjoy it, I'm sure. I'll send you a youtube invite, then we can have our little Isabelle Huppert fanclub teaparty elsewhere :) We are probably boring the fuck out of the rest of youtube-land :)
@Jiskemarije LOL, agreed. I accepted your invite. I found 8 femmes and Ma Mere just now on a website. Have to wait for them to be shipped to me. BTW, since you liked La Pianiste, then you might be a Michael Haneke fan. You should watch the US version of Funny Games (Naomi Watts). It is directed by him and it's a movie that will evoke strong emotions...if you haven't seen it already.
