WOW!! What a great video. Very educational and explained in layman terms so that even I could understand. Will be watching all of doctor Karen Becker's videos to further my pet education which will not only benefit me but my dog as well!! Thanks doc!!
I am a dog groomer and am so glad I watched this video. I will now have a greater understanding on what to do with dogs that have this problem when I wash them. Thank you.
This vinegar solution works wonders! I have a English Bulldog named Booty (yes like, rear-end) with a horrible immune system and suffers horribly from yeast. A little over 3 months ago, I changed his diet to Primal Raw Chicken det and started bathing him twice a week using the vinegar rinse. This has been such a help and relief on him. Thanks!
she has improved after just one treatment!!!! on her way to total recovery now, i can not thank you enough!! listening to your raw diet vid now as i can not find any commercial food without carbs :(
after days of searching for a cure for my new cocker-spaniel (rescued from puppy mill) I finally came upon this vid... which actually brought tears to my eyes. She is the sweetest (scared of her own shadow) dog that is suffering. Your information will help ease her pain as now i know what to do for her... thank you so much... from Bella and me ♥ღ(。◕‿◕。)ღ♥
I have a nearly 14 yo JRT that has been suffering most of her life with itching. She often smells like a dorito. I have found that frequent baths do help. Malaseb used to be the shampoo of choice, but that's been taken off the market. Recently skin lesions that the vet swabbed came back yeast or bacteria and yeast, for which a topical solution was prescribed. This video answers so many questions for me. I am anxious to try the dips and rinses (diet is sugar free already), thanks again.
My elderly chihuahua has always had small spots of black "gunk" on his skin. Is this yeast? Like a couple of his nipples are inverted and it like to hide in there...you can literally dig a little of it out. It also seems to be in his armpits, stuck to his skin.
Thank you so much for this!! My Fox-Red Lab, Toby and I wish there were more holistic vets like you. I was beginning to think I needed to abandon my natural approach and call a vet for drugs. I've read some strange remedies on the web, but I love him too much to experiment on him. Your approach makes sense and seems very safe. Bless you!!
