I remember this building from 1960 - 1962. I worked at Surfway from age 13 to 15 and one of the employees named Wayne Naiga lived in the PBQ so I had a few occasions to visit him there. Each of the floors was more open like a military barracks with wall lockers used as partitions. The living conditions seemed rather bleak consistent with the frontier atmosphere of Kwajalein in the early 1960s. They complained about the place even back then.
Cool seeing the Rich...I heard it was torn down...Memories. Worked at that snakbar when I was in HS out there.Check out my senior picture in the 76 Ekatak..the long haired guy whith the cross in the background.Yukwe!!!

I helped place the explosives and of course cleaned up the mess. Wish I could go back.

Lived in the PBQ when I first got to Kwaj in 91. I miss the Island and the gentle Marshallese people but not the politics on Kwaj.
