Most of you are forgetting Darth Vader is a Cyborg and is more machine then man, so of course he can survive and get back up just like The Terminator. Vaders force is no were close as strong as Galen Marek (starkiller). Vaders can just take a pounding but is slow and weak on the force side, He would have been far more powerful if Obi wan had not chopped his limbs off and left him to burn and die.

People think Starkiller is strong because the extent of his abilities are fully showcased in these games. However, we never really see a full showcase of the abilities of other force users. We get some ideas, like how one sith killed an entire planet by stepping on it, and how another sith could return life to those who had lost it. However, star wars only ever showcases how strong sith powers are and never jedi... haha.
