  • Always 'Measure Twice cut once'

  • he looks a bit like Fat Joe

  • Thanks. Nice work!

  • Thank you! Main worry the measuring, wouldn't want it to be wonky.

  • Thanks! A very useful guide.

  • How did you manage to pull the wires from underneath to the back of the trunk? Isn't there a horizontal beam/stylfoam across the bumper?

  • Have you try CBS parking sensor ? There have 15 months guarantee .

  • great help for people that don't know how to fit sensors :)

  • good

  • thank you for the help :D

    are you Portuguese?

  • shall i put sensors on bumper at 40cm or need more high ???

  • It's look nice, but it isn't perfect for me. I write about can I see what you do, becouse my english is very simple (i'm from Poland) and I dont understend everythink what you tell.

  • I was actually watching to see the drilling bit. for me it was the most crucial part as I dont wanna damage my car. Pity the video got damaged. Been 2 years, can you make another one?

  • favorite :) and can you paint these or no?

  • thanks for sharing!

  • Great video series.

Thanks for making and posting this.

  • what if the bumper is not high enough?

  • can the Sonars b put on any car or truck , lik a 97 f150 4x4

  • yes they can, if you need more help you can call our tech support, the number is on our website

  • do the sensors start beeping as soon as you put the car into reverse or only when an object is in range?

  • only when an object is in range

  • is this the same process for any other car?

  • Essentially it is the same process for any vehicle, only if you have a metallic bumper is possible that you have more work to open the hollows, in this case you will need a drill bit for metal.

  • yes it is the same

  • Why did you spend like 7 minutes bloody measuring up so the sensors are equidistant, then you skip the drilling part? I want to see the drilling part! That is as important as the measurements!

how do you know there is nothing behind the bumper?

do you need to take it off?

  • Esthetically it is important that the sensors are at the same distance, this does not influence the functioning.

The video of the drilling part was damaged and could not be included.

Is important know if there is something behind the bumper but it is not necessary to remove it.

  • @novafishy You need to know how to position the sensors and why they are at a certain height and distance apart. If you do it wrong it will look terrible and be inefficient. On a lot of UK cars if you do take the bumper off, the holes for factory fit sensors are marked for you. Drill out a small pilot hole from the inside and then use the hole cutter from the outside of the bumper. This makes it perfect and as they would be fitted as an option. Always worth checking if yours are marked out!

  • Thanks for going to the effort to post this How To series. It helped me no end.

    Ken.
