@Povlennebo Hi! That was weird! I JUST wrote on another one of these videos how John and Gary never got enough credit for being the not so silent heroes as the backbone of the Libertines.... They had two share a stage with the Carl and Peter phenomenon which was hard to take eyes off of. I like your description better! All four of them make the MAGIC of the LIbertines! Woo Hoo - the REUNION! Can't wait!

It's pretty funny how people are saying "this is Pete's song" and how it's "wrong" that Carl and John are performing it without him, but both Carl and Peter wrote the song, so if not the lyrics, Carl probably wrote the guitar parts for it. Does that mean that when Peter performs this live, he shouldn't play the guitar? Sheesh.

I dunno, Pete is obviously part of the heart and soul of this band, but you've got to admire Carl for the way he tried to keep the LIbertines going amid all the trouble Pete Doherty got himself in at the time

there will always be bitterness, but they play SO well together. Especially later, John learned to play the songs incredibly, I mean absolutely powerful as hell. I can only think of one other who could play so well with them and his name starts with P
