  • Whenever I hear such a heartmelting tune like this it makes me think of how lucky I am to have been born in that era of good music.

Good sound ... thank-you from Bp.

  • I've spent many hours behind a locked door, listening to this; it is just so comforting.

  • I always felt Pete Drake's hot pedal steel pushed George's recordings over the top

  • en esta imagen se ve bellisimo su cabello larguisimo lo amo mañana es t decimo aniversario t amo george

  • "With only this short time, I'm gonna be here with you..."

  • @livininomaha

    yes, so sad.

  • He was the beatle who didn't receive enuf credit.

I mean, he was lead guitar.

Everybody else follows what the lead guitar is doing.

he style was what I admired the most.

  • Here's an interesting fact: when George delivered the master tapes of All Things Must Pass to Capitol Records (Apple Record's distributors in the US) in New York (1400 Broadway!), Paul McCartney was also in New York recording RAM.

  • This is in the studio. Different mix. I love singing a very minor harmony to this song when I'm by myself. Makes me feel like I could win Idol singing something of worth. Scorcese doc should once and for all show the world how beautiful Harrison's music is. Timeless. If I want to live my life more like George than I can't pass judgement on creeps like Mccartney. Ooops. Sorry George!!!

  • This song is just the absolute best. All Things Must Pass is one of those albums you can listen to for days on end and not get sick of. George was a genius. An unbelievably sexy genius!

  • Wait, this is live? Holy shit!

I feel like George's voice was always hurt after that Dark Horse tour... shame; it was so beautiful during ATMP.

  • @nafaidni, just with a not-too-close listen it sounds like the LP track with maybe a dry, unmixed vocal. In other words, not live.

  • George had always put his heart into his music in ways even more vulnerably than John and Paul. I never liked the label "the quite Beatle" people, mostly the press, put on him. He was actually very outspoken in press conferences and was somewhat the rebel in the movie A Hard's Day Night. Being the loner songwriter, (Paul and John wrote together, George mostly alone, but then he actually was the most collaborative Beatle. He studied sitar with Ravi Shankar and worked with Clapton and Dylan.

  • So sweet

  • Best lyrics that touch so many hearts. Thank you!!!!!!

  • superb.

  • Let out your heart please please from behind that locked door...<3

  • thanks george

  • 'all things must pass' is one of the most underrated albums ever.

  • @JDot315 It might seem that way now, but in its time it was a monster smash that made all the other ex-Beatles a lot richer given the way Apple was arranged at the time. The teeny-boppers may have no clue about it now but the people who are old enough to remember (and the younger ones who have listened to it) know that it's a magnificent piece of work.

  • @livininomaha

I suppose we can agree that it's underrated today, as supposed to albums such as Imagine.

  • @livininomaha This might sound harsh, but John is SO overrated. Only in the fact that people just jump on the bandwagon by thinking he was some Ghandi figure or something. He mainly just had a big mouth that's all. He had good ideals but he was nowhere near the "Saint" people make him out to be. "All Things Must Pass" is by far THE BEST ex-Beatle album ever hands down. It's got everything; it rocks, it's soft, it's spiritual, it's melodic, it's avant-garde,

  • hare george, hare george.......

  • THIS SONG IS AMAZING!!!

  • Na minha opinião(fã incondicional de George Harrison) esta música é a melhor , a mais linda do album "All Thing Must Past " .

  • nothing but a big dark cloud filled with sweet sweet tears..love ya george, and wish I had that hair you had.....

  • The steel guitar sound rather dominant over George soft voice here.

  • i hate to say but this kind of music makes all the beatle stuff sound like kiddy music, really great, i want more.

  • george you a forking long hair

  • yeah, pete drake was the pedal steel guitarist who played all over the place in the 60s and 70s...from Dylan to Harrison and Starr, to Tammy Wynette and many many other country acts....par excellence on the steel....he was the best!

  • Written FOR Bob Dylan following his performance at the Isle of Wight.

Wrote WITH Dylan - "I'd Have You Anytime" (George Harrison/Bob Dylan)
