Ich besaß damals die Platte mit der Gitarre, die ihn aufweckt. Für mich damals eine ungewöhnliche Musik und der erste Kontakt mit dem Genre Jazz-Rock. Auch Kraan und Pat Metheny waren populär. Akkerman war damals schon genial und er ist jetzt sogar noch besser. Ich hoffe, dass ich ihn nochmal live erleben kann, irgendwann. Ich übe gerade an den Akkorden für Tranquilizer. I remember seeing Jan being interviewed on 'the Old Grey whistle Test' by whispering Bob Harris many, many moons ago, pre video days and he played a solo version of this tune. Some bean counter at the BBC wiped the tapes so they could be used again and save the corporation £40, did the same with Dave Ellis, fabulous guitarist. Whoever made that decision and caused me of all those years of heartache should be hit about the head with a sack of their own shit!. I feel a bit better now.

Good old Jan! I´ve been listening Jan and Focus since 1970...never had a chance to see him live, I am from down down South....Brazil. Enjoy guys! And please post new videos!

@ppqf. I agree with my friend. I have never seen Jan or Focus live. But I would really like to. This is a exmple of just what an awesome talent Jan is. It so laid back it is almost asleep. Brilaint stuff Jan.
