  • Classic

  • Class is in Session! One of the illest remixes in the 90's, Artifacts had nothing but hits!

  • yes I have it on Vinyl..and NO its NOT for Sale lol

  • hummmmmmmmmm dope!!! :P

  • THIS IS HIPHOP!! Not to hate on the NEW artist, cause i love to see new blood in the game, but artist now-a-daze need to sit their asses down and WRITE like a true artist! Wit all the WEAK CANDY ASS shit I'm hearing on MAINSTREAM even latest FASHION. It's no wonder you see so many GAY kids everywhere! I'm not saying that being gay is wrong and what you listen to determines your sexual orientation, but come on has anyone else noticed this? HIPHOP is not really dead per say it's just kinda FRUITY!

  • There's nothing like that 90s sound. I like the way MFs used to use the filter on the sampler in order to create a bass line. It seemed like the drums sounded better too. They had that swing. Remember how they used to throw a horn stab in the mix and add the echo behind that joint. The cadence that the emcees used was simple but complexed at the same time. I hear alot of people talking about that book "How To Rap-The Art and Scienc of the Hip Hop MC" I'm gonna have to get a copy of that book.=D

  • @youngtone00 peep my beats homie... should be right up yo alley the way you described how beats should sound... horns... filtered bass... vinyl breaks chopped into hardcore swing drums... its all there... Artifacts are back yo!!

  • dope!el da sensei,tame one and mad skillz!NJ & VA

  • Hot. True Hip Hop!

  • Artifacts got interviewed in the book " H O W T O RAP - The Art and Science of the Hip-Hop MC "

Very dope book if you're into real, raw HipHop and real lyrics, def worth picking up

  • @jhnevans751

  • hell yeah i like !!

  • This a remix and even better than the first, but this album is pure fukkin classic cut coke crack!!!!!!!!!!

  • No one sounds like the Artifacts until this day - exept maybe Blackmoon or the Lords and some others of course. Later there were... ahhh.. you probably know! BUT THEN WHAT HAPPENED IN THE YEAR 2000. Only few remained and very few could "proceed and continue to rock the mic". Lets be happy there are people like Madlib and Damu - although they have been in the game for a long time I guess. Whatever - 1995 was the time to be I'm tellin' y'all! Remember Street Theorie 101? Peace!

  • I haul ass like flash until I pass and then I slow up.

I rock my leather like a Fonzarelli!

  • I have. He also gave me his banadana and signed it. ;)

  • Nice work, I got a sick album from tame with a tune called 'slick talkin' produced by J-Zone. It's pretty deep, if a little short.

You've got good taste in Mc's, Tame is ill on the mic.

  • Tame One kiss me on my left breast in 2007.

  • He he he!

And I bet you never washed it since eh?

  • El da Sensei came to do a gig in Liverpool England with J Live years ago. I couldn't believe it when half way through J live's set this guy comes up to me asking for a toke on my reefer, it was El who later gave me and my boy props on stage for getting him fucked up. That memory is gonna stay with me forever man.

  • Nice man!

  • does anyone know the song that the hook goes like this" toys bring the noise and me and my homies are gonna diss" get bak at me plz

  • Wrong Side Of The Tracks

  • no but the hook is screwwed! and it repeat several times. and in the background you can hear spray cans shaking

  • The hook is screwed? Hook gives a shit about a hook. That hook is what the song is about. As for repeating? That Bullshit thats comes from the South repeats every damn thing in the song. The beats, the hooks, the lyrics, no versatlity. Its, "Hey, hey, hey," or whatever. That's commercial shit, homie. . Keep in mind, this was made in 95. And thats not spray cans, it's a crowd clap.

  • That's Hip Hop... Fuck rap

  • wtf u talkin about?

  • Look at the previous comments, I talk about the fact that hip Hop is not rap...

  • tru dat

  • @SlaytanicWarrior420 ...at the time, this was commercial rap...maybe not this track (not in philly) but these guys were commercial rap artists...These MC's were all over the radio back then, doin' freestyles etc... it was dope. I miss those days...

  • GREAT SOUND!

  • ez elpee produced this, bet.. artifect brick city to the core.. mad skills before hee stop being mad and started year end rap ups.

  • ReMix is dope as Sh! I still play both the albums cause alot of "underground" stuff nowadays doesn't do it, Re-Spek.

  • I agree with you

  • Cats these days call themselves "underground" to sell records. Ass backwards.

  • hip hop isn't what it used to be...

too many no-talent one-hit-wonders saturating the shit. souljaboy, franchise boys and the rest of the incoherent gibberish wrappers out there

  • Tame One is still a problem for these"Rappers" today.

  • and faggots like soulja boy are a problem for me...

  • I also fins soulja boy to be that annoying intch you cant reach on your back....Everyone here need's to stop mentioning his wack-ass,that's only free promotion for that dude that he doesn't have to recoup from his advance...Everyone that recognize's he got "Choreography" skills, not HIP-HOP skills,we all need to stop even using his name as an example of no talent...Leave them nameless...No free promotion..

  • Only Soulja I know is Sister Souljah

  • ive been saying this for a while. its not just him, its mostly everyone in the spotlight. last thing we need is that dude to be mentioned any more.

  • @sean8pens shu tup about soulja boy we already know he sucks now drop him
