Sam was never really taken seriously as a pop star here, because she had already spent five years appearing topless in a daily newspaper as a page three girl. She took a lot of flak when she released her first single and for years after - despite many of her singles being ace! I remember when I first started liking Sam, although it was in 1997 and everyone else was obsessed with Puff Daddy. I'd always "full-force" (lol) my music on my friends and they'd be like, "uhhh 80's music sucks" but I put in Love House and they actually liked this track. I never would have thought a big fat white guy would do the beginning words..I'll never forget the look on my friend Dusty's face when she said, "Are you ready to do things tonight you never drrrrreamed were possible?"
