  • My wife and I just made a 2 hour trip to rax. Good times. BBC was just as good as I'd remembered.

  • It was the one in Parkersburg, WV

  • Rax had a salad bar??? I always thought of it primarily as a roast-beef place.

  • What was the special?

  • anyone know the name of the voice over guy who announced the NBC special??

  • @sgtpepper1138 It was the late Danny Dark.

  • who else is watching this high?

  • not now, but sounds like a good idea.

  • @steel4eva

    lol!!!!!!!

  • is rax even open still, i love 80s Commercials memories )

  • I think they're still in the Ohio/West Virginia/Kentucky area, but that's it. I was surprised to see they still existed.

  • How can that guy read with such thick glasses

  • citrus wasps lol

  • Back when Entertainment Tonight was good lol.

  • Mmmmm pasta with bread. Bring me carbs!

  • stuff-a your face! haha.... thats funny

  • That is a lot of pasta plus carbs. I wonder if people went on diets not too soon after they ate all of that.

  • I am guessing that these look like they're from 1987-88, just based on the fonts, coloring, hairstyles, products, et cetera. They could be from as early as 1986, but definitely not before then. By the way, who remembers Rax restaurants? Their mascot was an alligator who wore a hat! Man, they had good sandwiches.

  • That pasta looks sinfully delicious, LOL!

  • I think you're talking about WDAF (Fox) & KSHB (NBC) in Kansas City.

  • 4 and 41 switched networks in 1994, 4 is FOX and 41 is NBC
