They weren't F&^$ing around when they said Crysis for the pc set the standard for graphics in a videogame. That, plus its open environments, plus its sandbox tool (which enables you to make any kind of environment), adds almost infinite replayability and not to mention the hundreds of epic looking mods made for this game. It just might be the ultimate videogame ever created, the only thing tht would top this is a game with the same features, with the ability to make male n female characters. LOL

We know Oblivion looked nice, and so did Fallout 3. But here's the thing, you're engine is clunky and the character's look like trash in Oblivion (Fallout 3 was an improvement) so I think a modified CryEngine should be used for The Elder Scrolls 5. Aion used it for an MMO, you can use it for an RPG.

I love this map, I played it.. and the river and mountains especially look like from my country Sweden, (lol sorry for bad english) Like, up in the north mountains, there's a rapid/river which is called the Staircase-rapids. Kinda' like this :3

Some ideas in this level were from slovakia mountains - some panorama views, mountain river and waterfalls, from photos taken in this mountainous area. And this area is my favourite in my country.

I have an xbox, and though Cryengine 3 on the xbox 360 may not look GODLY or anything such as cryengine 2, It's the closest people with a so so computer who can't run Crysis will get to playing games with substantial graphics effects.

Plus they are upgraded the desruction effects, and a lot of problems or bugs people encountered with the first one So it's not really all as bad as it seems.

its not about the polygon count, the rendering power of the pc is much better than the consoles. The consoles are still running on dx9 technology whereas the PC is already moving on to dx11. Now if have seen any comparisons, models are not a huge difference, other than the lack of AA on consoles but rendering distance and the amount of content you see in game. So for example on console you might only start seeing buildings trees and NPCs as you approach them whereas on PC its rendered

(because it only renders what is on screen) the major downside is that doing it that way would bog the frame rate down to a crawl.

however, I feel next generation after this (if consoles don't get even more kid focused) they should... the consoles are about as powerful as a semi top shelf 2005 pc.

crysis warhead doesnt have sandbox 2editor, but i think, you can play it in warhead.

This was done for Crysis and Crysis Wars, with no custom graphics config, only Very High setting on DX9.

Some custom graphics configs, make it too dark.

I didnt try it in Warhead, but maybe can you play it.

Cry file is for download too, also you can open it in sandbox 2 editor :))
