We went to Tenn for Global DI in 07 and 08 and went to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge, Dollywood too. It was GREAT we all had a blast. All the people we met were soooo nice and there is so much to do and see. It is my happy place.
Just too bad it is a 3000 mile round trip from my house! Go you will love it. And rooms are reasonable too.
Gatlinburg is my most favorite place to visit. I will take the crowds just to spend a few days there. I plan on going the 16th(2 weeks from now). We have even talked about moving up there, because we love the mountains so very much. It is absolutely gorgeous. I am in Ga so it is a 4 1/2 hr drive from where we live, but it is worth every minute of driving to get there.
DId you eat at the pancake pantry? If not do it the next time you go.
