@JoyceC777 Hello JoyceC77! I actually found this location when our family took a vacation to Tucson, Arizona. It was amazing! I was driving down the desert highway and I saw "squaws head rock" up on the mountainside from the road! I was soooo shocked! So I drove up to that mountain and I found out that the whole ending of the movie was shot there! I couldnt believe my eyes!!!! I still could of sworn I still saw some red paint from where the sultry "pearl" was crawling on the rocks!

@MisterSkyTower Thank you very much! I couldnt believe my eyes when i first found this! It is just off the desert highway. There wasnt any signs for it or nothing. Not advertised. It is a nature trail.Yeah thos rocks were sharp as hell, i tried crawling on them but i scrapped myself up! LOL

She was incredibly sexy in this movie... i could never take my eyes off her... such a beauty and she was PERFECT for Duel In The Sun. Yeah Im hoping to actually move to AZ so if you ever come out there ide be more then happy to show you the area! It is so beautiful and scenic!

Jennifer Jones is hot ... the movie was one of the worst i ever saw lol.. but the ending is what was important.. just being at that location gives you a sense of history..

You guys sound about as convincing as our recent political debates. Let's see, I have no clue about where Squaws head rock is, but why couldn't you just say, " I made this video HERE and it is in THIS STATE and OBVIOUSLY it's the same place as the movie footage. Jennifer Jones was the hottest sexiest thing of the century! The fact that she was so mysterious in real life fueled her fire.

the movie was filmed in aeizona not texas. squaw's head rock is in the dragoon mts in arizona. that is where the scene was filmed. i googled it and found this out
