They do put on a lot of the same matches over and over, but atleast they somewhat switch i up when we see we are getting bored. I do agree we do need more ideas and im confident that the results of this match will bring that. And luckily, we have Jericho on Raw again which seems promising. ;D good video though.

I agree, if WWE doesn't want to cut back on Pay-Per Views, the least they could do is bring back Brand Exclusive PPV's, it helps the other brand build up the following months PPV, and they could alternate, so Raw would get Hell in the Cell one year while Smackdown would get Breaking Point, and the following year it would be the opposite, Plus it would make Survivor Series brand vs matches more prestigious. Get rid of the B Rights ppv. Also WWE install a commissioner, perhaps a retired Wrestler?

There's nothing going on the Raw side of things because the mid-carders aren't ready yet. Not Creative's fault, it's the fault of the IWC being pricks and bitchasses.

I've heard one of the biggest reasons that the whole thing is shit is not the creative team per se, but THE MAN himself. Vince calls the shots as always but he's out of touch and doesn't get some of the better angles, and if he doesn't understand 'em or wanna try it than forget about it. Sure he's done great things, but maybe he's losing it. I'm not trying to excuse the creative team here tho- they still get a big "F YOU" from me too. Just somethin I heard from a former writer.
In a shoot interview Mr Kennedy also said something similar about Mcmahnon in relation to the creative team. He said that they do come up with ideas, but Vince often shuts them down...I don't know how true that is, but something or someone is seriously out of touch behind the scenes in WWE.

I agree with a lot of the points you made Spinner. I was dumbfounded when Cena came out saying his feud w/ Randy is epic. The Summerslam match was so randomly thrown together and since then there has been no growth w/ the feud and no effort to make us care about another Cena v. Orton match.
As for the guest host thing, it may be continuing into next year b/c reports are saying WWE wants Arnold Swartzenegger to be the guest host next year.

As to building stars, WWE can't build stars because a few of the mid-carders they want to push aren't over. Mark Henry is over, but not ready. MVP was over, but is a shit face when it comes to singles competition. Swagger can't talk, and Evan Bourne's too tiny. Cody sounds like a damn retard, and Ted DiBiase is getting pushed soon. There's nothing going on the Raw side of things because the mid-carders aren't ready yet. Not Creative's fault, it's the fault of the IWC being pricks and bitchasses.

Of course, it's no HBK v. Taker, but still. They've done every kind of match with each other, and obviously, they can pace themselves very well in the ring, especially with the whole NO-DQ, NO HOLDS BARRED stip placed on it, you're obviously blinded by stupidity if you don't think this is going to be a good match. Hornswoggle is over with the children, and even a few adults love him. And btw, wwe does focus on a lot of creative development.

Dude, listen. About the guest host thing...it's garnering attention for not only the celebrities, but it's also garnering POSITIVE media attention for the WWE, which they are in desperate need for. On top of that, it's quite entertaining to see what the guest hosts do. About Cena and Orton, putting my personal feelings aside, people will remember this feud for years to come. (tbc)

I've heard one of the biggest reasons that the whole thing is shit is not the creative team per se, but THE MAN himself. Vince calls the shots as always but he's out of touch and doesn't get some of the better angles, and if he doesn't understand 'em or wanna try it than forget about it. Sure he's done great things, but maybe he's losing it. I'm not trying to excuse the creative team here tho- they still get a big "F YOU" from me too. Just somethin I heard from a former writer.

In a shoot interview Mr Kennedy also said something similar about Mcmahnon in relation to the creative team. He said that they do come up with ideas, but Vince often shuts them down...I don't know how true that is, but something or someone is seriously out of touch behind the scenes in WWE.

To me DX still manages to be kind of funny, I was laughing hard when they were in Montreal and HBK was getting the fuck booed out of him-- Triple H goes "I know there was an incident here a few years ago that you guys haven't quite gotten over yet. I just want to say... it was all his fault" but mostly the only time they make me laugh now is when they subtly break kayfabe.

honestly, I would rather have fewer quality pay per views that are well built up and have a lot oh hype to them instead of all these rubbish pay per views that are too close to one another
if they wait longer in between and put more hype to them, then people would have a reason to watch them and care
then people like Spinnernet wouldn't have to force themselves to watch them just to review them.

I agree with a lot of the points you made Spinner. I was dumbfounded when Cena came out saying his feud w/ Randy is epic. The Summerslam match was so randomly thrown together and since then there has been no growth w/ the feud and no effort to make us care about another Cena v. Orton match.
As for the guest host thing, it may be continuing into next year b/c reports are saying WWE wants Arnold Swartzenegger to be the guest host next year.
