@cincinattiblues No talent? You ignorant shit - metal takes as much talent as any other style of music does. Just because you don't like it doesn't make the people who play it talentless
@cincinattiblues cincinattiblues why don't you show us how so much more talented you are than the average metal guitarist. Put up some youtube videos and let's see how it compares to Malmsteen, Vinnie Moore etc...
it's an original US strat plus deluxe from 1994 with roller nut in stock. Everything is in stock in this strat except the pickups (originals pickups are lace sensor blue red and silver). The tremolo is a fender under floyd rose licence. The color is a translucid "honey blonde". The strat plus deluxe ( and the strat ultra) were in the end of th '80 and the begin of the '90, the best modern strat better than the american standard strat.
I bought it new on december '94 around 1300 € when I was a student. It's a great strat complementary with my CS '61 relic and my strat Eric Johnson signature.
whoaa! that's very detailed, tnx very much for the info! you're lucky, u know? there aren't much of these on the ebay! who has it, doesn't want to sell it :D
if overdrive is a noise, yes there is a lot of noise.
Don't forget UX2 is an tube amp simulator and for this sample, I used an old fender tweed simulator. If you have any real tube amp, you see what I mean...Maybe I should make another sample without any overdrive (with chorus for example)
I surly don't mean overdrive like noise... :D But telling the home truth I hear (when u stop playing) a sound... ;-) that even with some good amps there is... Is this normal? while u playing everything perfect...
awesome tone bro!!! I just got the POD UX2. Those '69s sound sweet. How do you like your LSR nut? I have one but never had it installed, I have locking keys on my Strat and the locking deluxe fender tremelo.
This is an original '94 Fender Deluxe Strat Plus with "LSR nut". I have just change the Lace sensor pickups by '69 pickups CS . "LSR nut" improve the tuned guitar like the locking keys.
Im thinking on buying a pod studio ux2. Do you think is a good deal using it with a macbook and midi pedals to change effects in the macbook (if that's possible) and use the pod studio ux2 analog outputs for live playing?
I don't think you can change effects by using a midi controller (I'm not sure in fact but there is no possibilities to configure PodFarm software with an midi controller) I think it was possible with the older "gearbox" software but I'm not sure (you should ask question to line 6 support).
Yes, you can using the pod studio ux2 analog outputs for live playing without any problem like a direct box (great sounds)...
good question ! I don't think it's possible to use in the same time two electric guitars plug in the two "instrument imput" channels... There is a dual mode but you can just mix a "microphone" channel with an "instrument" channel ! (you should ask question to line 6 support).
Hi kingconnor69, it's just the SRV preset tone (I'm not sure in fact) take a look to the effects parameters: Noise Gate: threshold -73dB decay 76% Classic distorsion (like RAT) drive 17% Gain 65% Tone 55% Tweed B-MAN Drive 55% Bass 100% Middle 71% Treble 68% Presence 0% Volume 94% Line6 Compressor Threshold -20dB Gain 0dB Line6 reverberation Processor Medium Hall Predelay 50% Decay 14% Tone 50% Mix 43% that's all don't forget to select the neck pickup ! @++
Man i'm deciding between these and the lace sensors gold, which one give a more vintage sound ?

nice dude!!
and if i should use the wah wah for example from 1:30 to 1:40 how do i get that??
and my effect pedals can be connected to the UX2, with this i won't need the amp anymore right??
ivncdo0809 1 year ago
Hi ivncdo0809,
yes you can use pedal effects just before your UX2 without any problems and just use amp simulation in your line 6 UX2.

yes if you respect the effects chronology.
If you uses an overdrive pedal for exemple, you can use an reberb effect in your pod studio ! But I should to test one more time this configuration !
