  • Sorry, Jennifer in Arizona but I like this movie.

  • THE DREAMS OF MR MULDOON is now out on AMAZON KINDLE @2.99.The publishers said this book would make a great film......you will love THE DREAMS OF MR MULDOON.Best wishes.

  • best movie and book ever made. anyone who hasn't seen it at least 10 times, GO SEE IT!

  • A great movie for its time. Looks overblown now. Could have used a great deal of cutting in its 2nd half.

  • @Baskerville22 There was a lot of cutting in both parts of the movie. A few characters never got added such as Wade, Ella, and Will. Wade and Ella were technically Scarlett's first children they just didn't get much Screen Time and Will was another minor but very important character. Trust me there was a lot cut out in both parts as I've read the book and can see that they cut out a lot but still kept the story.

  • If you like reading, read the sequel to the movie "scarlett" it is wonderful, I read it in two days, it ended just the way I wanted it to, as well!

  • One of the best movies ever! I love it! I am just 20 and I thik I'd seen it more than 40 times! And Clark look alike my dad! They look the same!

  • I read the book, and I want to see a movie of it. But I think Id like to see a remake. I don't care for old films. I always think they overact.

  • @lollipopfop - you should see the original..it was really good..and back when it was made there were actually people still alive who were in the war..I think when they made Scarlett was such a mistake..didn't like that one at all...

  • @lollipopfop

You can't remake perfect with the perfect actors. It can't be done.

I would flop. New flims are mostly very crude and rude and they have

no class. They have very few actors who could carry this giant off even half

right. It stands alone through time.

  • The best film I've ever seen.

  • I agre with you and I live in Brazil.

  • @daltonage

What does where you live have to do with a movie and it's merits?

    You plainly don't get it.

  • Scarlett screwed up right from the start when she didn't fly off with Superman

  • why was it always back then the youngest and most prettiest of actresses always had to do movies with actors in their 30's and 40's and they were old and had to kiss them! it annoys me.

  • @sweethaert12 and they disappeared by the time THEY were in their 40s...still do, for the most part, today.

  • people were standing in line to kiss Clark Gable as Rhett Butler back then though..he was THE man..the heart throb back then.

  • The greatest movie ever made!

  • @Skyflite no way. first part good, second horrid

  • This one of the greatest films of all time is now 70 years old. Thanks for sharing your video clip to everyone.

  • 2.20, ohhhhhhhhhh beautiful picture!!!!

  • I loved it.

    --------Ellen

  • so...beautiful!!!!!!!

    :)

  • Dang in that first picture Clark is old as dust!

  • LOL!!!

  • Lol! He is!

  • ROTFLOL!!!

  • It is said that there are two great movies made in the US, i.e., Gone with the Wind and the rest. I agree with that strange comment anyhow.

  • lol by golly I think you're right lol

  • The best movie ever made!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I was reading on Wikipedia that Vivien Leigh has Armenian ancestry through her mother; that's hard to believe.

  • Best movie. Incredible, I love a classic music..,

  • The University of Georgia Marching Band usually plays this song after football games. ^^

  • i am completly in love with the music and the movie. both of them are classics. oh gosh, its such a great movie! i cry everytime i watch it.

  • I used to hate this movie when I was a kid, but now that i'm like older, oviously, and can appreciate the themes and emotions and things of the movie, it's SUCH a classic

  • I love this music :)

  • Awsome movie, when ever we go and visit our plantation we watch this movie

  • Man, i love this movie

  • My all time favorite movie!!!!

  • Hermosa y valiente mujer fue Scarlett O'Hara.

  • beautiful movie!!! i love it!! well done and very good job!!! <3 kiss

  • in the book it does describe how scarlett thinks she might love rhett but blahs it (grrrrrrrrrrrrr) because she loves ashley-or thinks she does!grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

  • Miss Scarlett doesn't know her own mind. That's her problem.

  • who does?lol

  • You're right! ;)

  • lol

  • oh i love this!

    :D

  • It is fantastic .. It is splendid .. It is history

  • I'm from Richmond, VA - The Capital of Dixie.

  • Manners are very important in the south. We also place great importance on family and knowing who is kin to whom. "He married Jessica Carroll of Carrollton, who was his second cousin once removed and kin to the Wilkes' too" (Aunt Pittypat Hamilton)

  • In Atlanta, people ask, "What is your business?" In Macon, they ask "What is your church?" In Augusta, they ask, "What is your great great great grandmother's maiden name?" Here in Savannah we ask, "What would you like to drink?" (From "Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil")

  • ...

What does that have to do with anything?

  • mein lieblingsfilm

und die musik ein reiner wahnsinn;)

meine güte der red wäre genau mein mann gewesen

  • ooh ja, da stimme ich zu!

  • r u a german

  • where is the scene where she goes to the Wilkes' in the red dress to spit iNDIA? Leigh's best scene in the movie.

  • A great follow up to the earlier scene where, dressed scandalously in an afternoon dress at a morning barbecue ("You cain' show yo' bosom befo' 3:00!"), Scarlett greets India, dressed like an old matron school marm) with a sugar-coated torpedo as the O'Haras arrive at Twelve Oaks: "India Wilkes! What a lovely dress! I just can't take my eyes off it!"

  • I live in Charleston, SC, and Alicia Rhett, aka, India Wilkes, is still alive and kicking here. I saw her one time, a few years back, and recognized her even at her advanced age. My Great-Grandmother was an acquaintance of hers.

  • and we know how in Charleston how important the acquaintances of one's great-grandmother is! :)

"In Atlanta, they ask 'What is your business?' In Macon, they ask 'What is your church?' In Augusta they ask 'What is your great-great grandmother's maiden name?" Here in Savannah we ask, 'What would you like to drink?"

  • Thanks I love this song and espescially the movie... Now you make me wanna go get the movie and cry my heart out!

  • check out Erich Kunzel directing the Cincinnati Pops on their CD The Ultimate Movie Music Collection. There is a brilliant re-recording of Tara's Theme faithful in its romance and grandeur to Max Steiner's original score.

  • This is the best Gone with the Wind movie clip that I have seen so far on youtube. Excellent work. I gave you a 5 star rating.

  • my old mum loved this flim and tune

  • classic. oldies. drama maybes?

  • can anyone tell me what the theme of the movie is?

  • the civil war. the north against the south. fighting against slavary. its set in georgia.

  • Rhett Butler isn't a nice man...

  • he is kinda.

i used to think he was the bees knees but now it's like whatever.
