Queen without John Deacon and Freddie Mercury is like a deck of cards missing two suites, it is just not complete. The music is good but this is just really half of Queen and Paul Rodgers, and should be called something else like Queen Mother or something

finally someone with good taste in music. these x facter based artists were never popular from the start. they get 15 mins of fame 1 chart single (wondering who in the right mind listens to it, i mean i used 1 as a frisby and my dog didnt go to retrieve it, smart dog) then they dissappear for a year or so until the newspapers spot em pissed as fart coming out of a night club. great bands like queen earned their way to where they are.

If Paul Rodgers was meant to be replacing Freddie then it wouldn't be called Queen + Paul Rodgers. Paul Rodgers is an artist in his own right, and so are Queen.

Had Paul Rodgers sung songs like Freddie people would complain that he's copying Freddie. He is singing Queen songs in his own style.

We all miss Freddie but he is gone. Im glad that Brian and Roger have written something DIFFERENT and are headed in another direction. Sure, there will be elements of Queen (harmonies, BM Guitar) and instead of whining and complaining like most of you, I'm going to ACCEPT that Freddie is gone, Paul is here and Q+PR are makin new music. I don't want to hear something that was already done in their past done over again. It's time for some new challenges, new frontiers and places to conquer...
