@TheN00b4Lif3 Hard to tell, really. On the one hand, the Mauser fires what, on paper, seems the more powerful round. Both a bigger bullet, and an longer casing.

On the other hand, the the L96A1 is a more modern rifle, taking advantage of modern materials and manufacturing, as well as, most likely, using match grade ammo.

Also, the L96A1 is a dedicated marksman/sniper rifle, the 98K was a standard soldiers rifle. Have to go with the L96A1, but the Mauser is an amazing rifle, definetly.
