Whoever did the sound for this performance may be smarter than you think...you could play this version on the radio, not announce the title, and the FCC would be none the wiser....
@Raybo58 - You don't think that just maybe the 'less than perfect' audio was due to this being recorded on a hand held cellphone from the side of the stage? As the individual twirls the camera, for effects maybe?...or most likely felt the push of the pit as they tried to frame up their 'soon to be' rad youtube post. In closing I <3 U and one should never forget to always B.Y.O.V.D.!!! (: ...v is 4 video not venereal in case confused. Sinner! :)
I gave my wife my Let Them Eat Jellybeans vinyl album when we first met. Still hangs on our wall by the front door so we always see it when we leave the house.
I first heard these guys back in the early 80's on an Alternative Tentacles comp album called Let Them Eat Jellybeans. This in one of my all time favorites! thanks for posting it.
"Jesus Entering from the Rear" - a hardcore classic. Why would someone post this when they don't even know the name of the song? Regardless, it's rare to see any live Feederz video so I thank you for the post none the less.
The title is misnamed because "entering from the Rear" took too many title characters when it was posted and for searchability (and keyword limitation's sake at the time this was posted) I decided to post the title under a certain lyric line. Frank was OK with it and I've posted this explanation once before in a couple forums who have had the same question.
Thank you... question answered. As I stated before Feederz footage is so rare, I thank you just for making this video available. I've been a Feederz fan since I was a teen and this is the first live footage I've ever seen. (So who the fuck am I to complain). Sorry to hassle you about the title issue.
No problem at all. I've been a Feederz fan since 1982 after being turned onto them by another band from the AZ scene, Mighty Sphincter, and my friendship with some of the newer and original members of 45 Grave... Both bands that you should know, just in case you don't.
Mighty Sphincter was a great bad musically and conceptually. I'm from the east coast but learned about some of the 80's AZ scene from the "This Is Phoenix Not The Circle Jerks" comp. I still have that and Mighty Sphincter's "New Manson Family" in my vinyl collection.
Speaking of which, I read somewhere that Biafra (fuck, I think it was on wikipedia !), that Biafra's wife business with Franky boy was the reason why Jellybeans comp. has not bean :-) reissued. Of course, this remains soft data until cross examination in the john with a clean copy of USA today. Speaking of which...
... and that Flipper was (unbelievable) the wedding band at Biafra and his futur unfaithful wife's wedding. Of course ! This explains everything !
Heh! I believe the sandpaper cover was designed with the specific intention of fucking up the records it was next to in any sort of collection. Subversive motherfuckers! (Motherfuckerz?)
Song is called "Entering from the rear" and I have the original "sandpaper" vinyl along with "teachers in space" vinyl. Both kickass albums. Still spin them on my turntable now and then, AHAHAHAHAHAH
Great idea for keeping it in plastic since it fucked up my other albums next to it......aarrgg! Its an original but dont know about the value. I once met John Kedzy from the "Effigies" and he told me there vinyl is worth about $150 each! But dont know who would pay that for a vinyl?? Take care.
Saw them a couple times on the '03 tour and he would do this schtick where he compared school, work, society, etc. to having a nail driven through your head while, at the same time, hammering a large, steel spike all the way up his nasal cavity like one of those old-time circus freaks. Good stuff and the dialogue was hilarious. Love to see footage of that if it is available--they played like a dozen or so shows on that tour as I recall.
I read on their website that Frank was a debugger for Microsoft..lol. Destroy from the inside. Where can I download this entire show? Post it on Punktorrents or Kraytracker, PLEASE

Too bad their sound guy sucked. Vocals need to be way out front. Never trust a house sound guy. Always bring your own.

Well worth mentioning this was played on air here in Boston in the 80's without edit, times have changed totally for the negative.
