  • Thank you God for this man!

  • Creigh Deeds is a LOSER!!!!!!!!!!

  • Both are assholes!

  • I am happy that Virginia got a great governor. he is a God fearing man and is not afraid to challenge the federal government. I hope that us New Mexicans can get the same in November.

  • @ACoolDudeProduction Both Governors are assholes

  • lthom33 you're what's wrong with this country! You're liberal bull!

  • Not many politicians thank GOD'S Divine Providence! This good Catholic man does and he will be the greatest Governor the Commonwealth of Virginia ever had!

  • Catholic? Bob McDonnell' political views were shaped by radical right-wing beliefs (those of Christian Reconstruction). Christian reconstruction is a label for a small group of conservative Christians who advocate 'reconstructing' society to conform with biblical law. I'm a Christian but faith convictions need to be held in tension w/the separation of church & state, laws of equality, & religious diversity. McDonnell's thesis does not support any of these & Virginians voted him in??!!

  • I agree with separation of church and state but most liberals are for immoral things that all major religions denounce like gay marriage so its pick your poison

  • Liberals don't support immoral things -we support separation of church/state, laws of equality, etc. We do not inject our religion into politics as the Bible tells us not to do. 2 men together is considered a sin to God, yes, but we're all sinners and 1 sin is just as great to God than the next.

Famous Bible quote "He who is without sin cast the first stone." Words to live by

  • You speak the truth, yet I cannot understand the logic in supporting a party that endorses legalization of something as ludicrous as gay marriage

  • It' laws of equality that we support. "We," as individuals, have a fundamental right to choose who we love & who we live with. What I would prefer to see, and hope the pro-gay marriage movement pursues, is removal of marriage from the state Constitution entirely, replacing it with civil unions. Leave it up to the ministers to decide if they want to perform the ceremonies. Also I find the argument against gay marriage ludicrous. We're in 2 wars, the world is upside down, and people are dying.

  • The Civil Union thing would be good...and I know, I'm in Iraq right now

  • You see, I am more worried about you then gays getting married. There are far more important and serious matters than that. I just mind my own business. It keeps me out of trouble most of the time =)

  • Virginia!? Its a shithole anyway

  • So very true. Especially the Newport News area. Only cool thing in VA is the Yorktown battlefield.

  • So Republicans won 2 Governors and one Mayor and Democrats won another seat in congress, I think Republicans are retarded for thinking this was a win. One more vote for Dems in congress and two more shitty states I wont move to. And fuck Blomberg he is a decoration for NY.

  • i dont know this guy personally or his record but he seems like a decent human bein, so hopefully he serve the people and not interest, im a conservative dem, but i see people not political affiliation

  • who put the help in front of douchebag row? shouldn't they be getting dinner ready, bob?

  • democrat and their "block" voters are getting nervous from this. my dem friends wouldn't speak to me tonight at dinner. lol. they are so bad at losing.

  • VA win isnt a big deal, Obama is the only DEM to win that state since 1977, i dont care who wins as long as they do whats in the best interest of the people, with a bad economy people will hurt for a long time no matter if repubs, dems, or whoever's in power until we act like one people instead of us vs them, and thats all i see right now, Obama is this, dems r that ,conservs r this, im really tired and we get nowhere

  • True. People are too quick to assume that the "R" after a candidate's name means "Racist," or that the "D" stands for "Damn Communist." (OK, in some cases those rules do apply). People need to look at issues, not parties. Until everyone realizes that, America will be continually saddled with interest pandering flunkies and demagogues.

  • well by you saying the win wasn't a big deal, you have exposed yourself as a democrat. so your opiion would be yours against mine. hypocritical statement.

  • its a psychological win but still a win, hopefully he can serve the people better than what they had, i said that b/c the dems picked up another seat in congress, and thats a victory, but the country needs cooperation not division, if dems act stupid this term, ill vote for the other way, i vote for the person, not the party

  • why in the hell did VA elect obama? good lord.

  • McDonnel ran right down the middle, with Obama-style campaign slogans.

Face it, until the Dems run better candidates--real progressives who reflect the will of the people on issues like healthcare (single-payer) and bailouts (against) they are bound to lose.

  • no problem here! i don't want them to win.

  • ur a perfect example of what i replied back to Mr.Magoob, read it and think about it, u dont win debate by pointing fingers, u just find the best way to fix it, this problem started back in 2004 and we really felt it in 07 and after and it will continue as long as we do things like argue in circles,

  • Yes, Thank your lawyer. Sinner.

  • blondes out in full force!

  • boooooo!

  • Virginia was never purple. Perhaps it was only purple for one election. But today, we are back to Red.

  • So Virginia get a republican governor and New Jersey get a Corrupt one what else is new?

  • But they were both corrupt in NJ so either way the people lose.

I am not sad Corzine lost, because he was a Goldman Sachs man. They are, more than any other institution right now, the Great Parasite sucking the blood of America.

This is why we liberals and progressives need to discard the Dems; they have sold out . They pretend to be the People's Party; we need a real one.

  • I think I agree with you there should be more choices than just two self centered political parties in this country, I just wish money was not the reason more parties can't get in the ballot.

  • Is it possible he's 'one of the good ones?'

    Doubt it.

  • Oh, god. This troglodyte won. Great... Virginia will be in the Dark Ages for at least 4 years.

  • running for governor during a possible depression looming real smart. obama made an even worst decision.

  • Obama's policies are making things worse. I saw a slogan that summed it up nicely: "Spending your way to prosperity is like screwing your way to virginity."

  • i dont agree with spending but this country has been spending since i can remember, in this case, if we dont maybe more than 10% would be out of work, it would have been 20%, so if it saves people from bein homeless and bein able to feed their families, ill pay the damn taxes for now, what is the alternative, we have been screwed by uncle sam for decades, now people r all up in arms, why now, y not n 04/05/06/07, thats when we spent for no reason and alot of it

  • so you are saying the dems, it is ok for them to spend, but the evil republicans are just bad and there negative production is better bc why???you just said that. then in your previous reply you congratulated me for the win but went on to say it was bc dems won another seat in congress. you are the reason for divisive politics.

  • WOW this is one of the best analogies i have ever read. very clever!!!lol
