  • old-school :)

  • not such a good ad

  • @canaydemedian it;s from 1970!

  • @canaydemedian it's from 1970!

  • @cardace11 Whoa realy? That old? Let it never be said I didnt read the description.......

  • haha WTF

  • This commercial is ridiculously creepy. Especially the kid saying "Flambeau Plastics Corporation" at the end. Oof.

  • @YoYoPunk I thought the same thing!

  • What I want to know is...how in the hell do they get such good spins in the ads, but a real Duncun Imperial dies so fast, and I often find them to be unevenly balanced(i think this is from them getting squashed during shipping)

I have bought at least 15 in my life, and I am always unhappy with them(I dont know why i buy so many, so don't ask :P)

other duncan yo's play fine, so i have to wonder, what's up with their first model?

  • @deafomega I think they used to oil the string back then. Or they used some sort of vodoo.

But seriously, I really think it's just the player's skills. If today's modern yoyoers practice hours getting complex tricks down, the players back then practiced hours just to get the yoyo to sleep longer.

  • @BABBYlonian That makes a lot more sense

I wasnt aware of them oiling the string, but that would work I bet(but it'd be gross on your fingers)

I prefer wood axels myself, after the first two strings, they are so much smoother than the coated steel axel( dont spin as long, but they are a lot easier to work with)
