If Ron Paul didn't make those comments, why has he refused to check those that made the comments? And at the debate on Sunday he said he didn't like putting people in groups (women's rights, civil rights, etc) and therefore no group should have affirmative action (AA). Affirmative action was put in place because institutional racism is a statistical reality. If he doesn't see that groups of people are discriminated against, then he is likely to perpetuate the same discriminatory practices.

I've had a look at Paul's policies and quite frankly they're insane for the most part. A federal system is a good idea, but you need things like the Department of Education. You can't effectively have 50 different education systems in one country, that and I actually like the idea of having a public sector provide things that most individuals cannot.

Pay for the camera, recording equipment etc. At least here they can distribute it for free on youtube. A newsletter has to be printed and delivered. Jeez. Really? That has to be explained?

@MntlWard If you're talking about the video everyone's seen from 95, he's not defending them, he was just proud of them. That was before he knew what was being written. In 96 an opponent to his seat discovered them and in an interview with a magazine he said the passages were taken out of context, but that was durring an election cycle where he could not say he hadn't written them as that itself would be discrediting. He came out much later in 01 about them in a magazine bit dot ly/rry2Cw
