America, what's your drug of choice for Christmas

My drug of choice this Christmas, nothing! I will spend as little money as possible, not try and force alcohol on my children (why is it o.k at Christmas) and do things my own way. A really merry Christmas with no hangover on Boxing day and no debt in January, cheers!

I so agree! I'm trying to give up every addictive substance. I've had a horrible time giving up refined sugar but now I eat loads of fruit. I gave up illegal drugs when I had kids. People buy their happiness whatever way they can. Alcohol has to be the worst, it truly ruins lives and is advertised everywhere! Swim in the sea, skate down a hill, brilliant highs that confirm life!
