  • 4:16 epic defence by Saive and powerful smash by Toriola. Great game!

  • Why do all table tennis players turn into monsters when they score a point....."yeaahhh, YES! YESS!!"

  • @iniafaha he needs more power.(Morale?)

  • Apologizing for nets and edges is one of the most ridiculous thing about table tennis. It is like a baseball player apologizing for hitting the foul pole on a homerun or apologizing for a ground-rule double or a field goal kicker apologizing for bouncing one of the goal post before it goes through the uprights. The net and the edge are as much a part of the playing surface as the rest of the table and acting as if hitting them is somehow wrong and merits an apology is fucking stupid.

  • @masanf to judge their manners to such a disgusting extent with such comparisons makes you look stupid. world class athletes can hit nets and edges very easily if trained to, but if they do so, where's the sportsmanship? if you know racket sports well enough you'd realize that tennis and badminton have these kinds of manners as well. please have a start on learning sportsmanship before judging sportsmen' manners to such extent.

  • that was freakin awsome. I love it !!!! TABLE TENNIS RULES OVER ALL

  • Hell yeah! Black guy owned! I can't believe the other guy hit the barrier twice lmao.

  • The best match I've ever seen...

  • stupid segun , saive was better !!!

  • @skatejimmy1 no matter what happened, saive didn't win. what determines the "stupidity" of segun for you, race? you shouldn't ever judge sportsmen like such by any means. saive clearly isn't better in this match, if he was, then he would've won.

  • i hate the coach of toriola , hes clapping wen toriola makes a point with a net or edges , have some respect for saive

  • @ttclaws55 mind you, he did what most coaches won't do, getting up there to help saive up when he tripped over. that gesture indicates lots more respect than not clapping for a net/ edge point

  • Really one of the greatest matches I've ever seen - great emotions!

  • best belgium player ever

  • saive is a very good athelete....:)

  • It seems like Toriola has one of the strongest smash in the world, when he smashes the ball goes out of game area, it seems like a volleyball smash.

  • Comment removed

  • Saive always has a nice style of playing, but he also ALWAYS LOSES>

  • epic

  • Waooh.............Just spent the past 6 minutes of my life having fun

  • What country is Toriola from?

  • @ZeDuBreju Toriola is from Nigeria.

  • @ZeDuBreju Toriola is from Nigeria

  • @balo500 Thanks. I've never thought that nigeria has good table tennis player. It seems his smash is so strong, am I right?

  • Great to see a black guy play table tennis. First time i see this in my entire life. This is how it should be. Table tennis played by all people!

  • It's not olympic material...

  • No, Saive didn't really play terribly. I think Toriola deserved to win.

  • 4:24 - 4:36

    Just amazingly great!!

  • two players who play on emotion. great match

  • nice to see the desire shown by the players. the chinese have taken the ideao of not showing emotion to the extreme

  • how great and emotional can table tennis be. Great perfomrance of both and both are winers.

  • tortiola has the flare and determination to potentially be a top 20 player i thoroughly hope he succeeds as he is an immense player

  • Wonderful form from Toriola this match. Jean-Michel Saive is an amazing player. The epitome of determination.

  • teo1000t You really have to be the mental age old of a kid to say that

  • How can Jean Michael play in this gay shorts?

  • this was saives last tournament he retired right after

  • Flare for the dramatic Saive, all time great.

  • Good stuff from both players!

  • The Chinese crowd were cheering for Saive!

  • @solidysnake1 either they are racise lol or they think he is Chines cos of the red shirt

  • @solidysnake1 either they are racist lol or they think he is Chines cos of the red shirt

  • @solidysnake1 just because he is white and segun is black :(

  • Segun Toriola are little lucky, but he play good. Saive is really good to.

  • If Saive had faced him before this match it wouldnt be this way... grrggrg

  • i am personally not a big fan of Saive myself but i have watched many matches of him and i just have to say, he was not able to play his best in this match.

  • wow, one of the best games i watched lately, it's fun to watch these guys!

  • I know Toriola, cause he played in Belgium and i have never seen him play so good. He'll never play that good again, though he beat Saive twice in Belgian competition just as he did with Samsonov

  • Toriala had alot of luckers

  • awesome. Though both players seldom appears on final 8 in major tournament, table tennis games need these kinds of combat that arouse the emotion of the audience.

  • er ist wirklich gut wow 5 star

  • Great to see an African player playing so well at a major event. Wish we'd see more of them, unfortunately in Africa we don't have the resources available in Europe or Asia to tt players.

  • hahahaha this black guy making fun of this saive hahaha

  • Y have u even said that ur sorry for saive...as tho the Nigerian player int good enough to beat him. He is ranked #56 in the World, and If u know anything about table tennis you would know that anyone in that Top 100 could beat each other at any given moment

  • except the top 10 xD

  • If you think like this you definitely know nothing about tabletennis

  • I really don't like to see you people come on this youtube n make out like you all are table tennis Gods....stupse.

You must respect saive, he's a former number 1 n has been great from time.

Segun has been knocking at the top player's door for a while and has shown he deserves his ranking by his displays in the last olympics.....giv respect where its due

  • I respect all the tabletennis players. I just laugh at you

  • seen...can see ur a bit ignorant

  • Lol. You said stupse.

    How's Barbados.

(How's that for a random comment?)

  • lol....what's so funny about "stupse" tho?

n umm...I study in UK now.I'll be able to answer that in 2wks...

    lol...pretty random tho

  • i think the top 6 can beat each other and the top 20 can beat each other till the best 6. and the top 50 can beat each other exept the top 20. and the top 100 can beat each other exept the top 40

  • You're wrong. Now go shove a stick into your rectum

  • bold statements 4m a 17yr old....

kid, go drink milk n study 4 ur exams

  • Give me a good reason why age is a legit factor in judging the validity of my comment.

  • ...as I'm guessing it's tha sole reason for u replying with such an unnecessarily, agressive,n unfactualy based comment

  • Hmm...Let's see. Take for example 2008 Beijing. Ma Lin won gold. Wang Hao won silver. Is it a coincidence that they were number 2 and 1 at that time respectively? By your logic, anyone in the top 100 could have won gold. Ergo, you are wrong.

  • 4:16 Saive is really great! XD

  • if saive is the white guy i wanna say....when he serve his face is so funny

  • as if saive lost to a no name

  • Great match, ironic that nobody knows to who Toriola lost at the Olympics but that he defeated Saive...

Could you please upload the whole match..or give me the link to megaupload 4 this match?

  • Toriola lost to Oh Sang Eun, 3:4 what a close match!

  • hilarious match, 2 funniest moments is when saive falls into the boundraies twice haha

  • great match!!

  • Black dude is in the game that day!

  • What a amazing match 5stars
