This song brings back memories. Every 1st Sunday at my church (i'm Baptist), the adult choir would sing this song before communion. Then while communion was being served, the pastor would bust out with "Drinkin Up the Wine!!" The organist would start cuttin up on the organ towards the end of the song. LOL.

I had never heard of Richard Smallwood. He reminds of a musician that played for Fellowship Baptist Church in Chicago, IL in 60's and 70's.named Frederick Young. I song under the direction of Dr. Stirling Culp of Chicago., IL.. in The Chicago Christian Ensemble. We are all blessed to have the opportunity to be able to listen to Richarrd Smallwood and have people like Dr. Stirling Culp to help us do give some of the blessed talents God had given us. Why would anyone dislike this song? The whole song is about the very thing that we need in order to make it to heaven. Jesus dying on Calvary made it possible for us to live now and live again. I just don't understand why anyone would disapprove of the song or video. The video and those in it are apart of the body of Christ and those who are not were moved and touched by the words of the song and the anointing. Let's show more love to those who use their God given gift to bring others joy!

Think there are different types of sopranos..1st sop, mezzo sop, etc..they may be able to sing the soprano line in a choir/group together but in terms of solos..some might have a higher range..Vanessa has an awesome range..was prompted by Richard to sing on the soprano section..she said naahh...guess it's where you are most comfortable.

@internetfan2005, Vanessa has an awesome range but for her to sing ino those upper notes takes much, on an average day. It is one thing to be able to hit r belt a high note and it is another to be able to hang in there, and whenever needed. I can hit tenor high Cs (C5s) but I am a baritone... if I consider myself a singer lol. And I don't know if Vanessa can even hit those soprano notes nowadays, but I am not surprised she signs alto. But Carolene singing Vision's 1st soprano is intriguing
