My gto sounds just like this GTO. I am using PaceSetter LTs with the 3" mids with the magnaflow 3" X and spintechSuper Pro mufflers with dumps but i dont have a cam yet :(

04's go for as low as $12-13k right now. Insurance on the GTO was cheaper than my 99 Mustang GT, and it was the same insurance and no change in coverage or extra discounts.

$3k maybe $3.5k including the exhaust. Ported intake, K&N CAI, Cam but stock heads. LT Headers.. 407 rwhp, 388 rwtq is what it put down on a dynojet. Another guy in Norcal goats with an 04 went with a 232/234 112 lsa cam and has the stock ls6 intake and put down near identical numbers, FWIW.

bought them used, but they're very popular on GTO's, shouldn't be too hard to find!

Yep, in fact I had to cut them too. Over real harsh bumps it would still rub.. The wheels aren't milled though, so if you buy them new, get them milled.

If you can find them, get the Drift-R wheels. They have the correct offset for the Goats. No rolling/cutting required!

yes, I did a custom 3" exhaust from the LT header collectors back, with a 3" H-pipe. Those are 3" Macs (title has typo)

huge wheels aren't my thing, although I do think 19s look best on GTOs (these are 18s). They're decently wide tires, which is what matters.
