i realy love this flick the audio could be better but thats ok just the fact that all of these great players are together on the same stage is awesome it seems like they are all haveing great fun thats what its all about it is joy to see sutch fine acoustic instruments played by sutch amazeing tallents
Don't get me wrong, Sam can pick his ass off. But I'd rather hear any one of those other guys sing that tune, including Tony! Ha! Love it though, of course!
@mrundrhill I actually like Sam's vocals better than the others I have heard do this. Of course, if you get to hear it live, it is a whole different animal.
Enjoyed these clips immensley! Who is the fiddler? People who don't recognize Sam Bush by his mandolin playin might be mislead as he doesn't seem to have the heavy sway rockin motion going on, typical of his earlier performances. Thanks
I recognize Dan Tyminski, Tony Rice, and Jerry Douglas, but who on lead vocal/mandolin? Does this band have a name? Great performance, thanks for sharing.
Truly inspiring! Thanks for the post!

It's hard to believe that Tony Rice and Jerry Douglas first played together in 1975 in the New South. I wish I could have seen this in person!
