  • it is the fast internet...

  • I wonder how many GB this program takes on your pc?? :D

  • @DarkCreatorn the program takes the insane amount of 50 MB on HDD !!!! Ok the cache file was about 2 GB ;-)

  • @martinheck1 Haha Damn :D

  • I thought there already was an interactive 3D New York City. It's called Spider-Man 2 for the GameCube.

  • sim city

  • theres a record option on the toolbar

  • Google Earth simply blows my mind !!!! and yet the kids today will not know a world without such amazing things .

  • good tho

  • Sigh, for the last time, the twin towers were shipped off to China for recycling under armed guard while homeland security prevented anyone taking samples of the steel structture for forensic examination, I think the deal was ten billion shirts for them to sell in their Walmart stores or something.

  • where are the twin towers?

  • now take a nice propelorplane and start playing in this wonderfull addonn!!!

  • it's just like that on a airplane

  • you can do all this and much more on spiderman 3 game

  • Ahh good ol youtube i love how these people are not trollin and being happy :)

  • how do I record a movie while looking around in google earth like this???

  • If i am on New york and i put on the 3d buildings, nothing happens!!!!!!What do i do?

  • your computer and/or internet connection prob doesnt support it. in google earth try deleting your catch memory

  • the music is embarrassing

  • I cant go to NY because there is so much lag

  • This is where fantasy and innovation meet. Absolutely awesome! I love Google Earth! Google has really made Earth handy :)

  • Outstanding, martinheck1! Excellent vid. I need to revisit the 3D buildings. Thanks.

  • Amazing city!!! simply beautiful!

  • the new 3d technology from google is simply stunning !!!

  • OMG what's going on here? I don't know what's to do...

I can only say: Uninstall Google Earth and download the newest version (don't make an update from your old version, because the installer would import the problems).

I have Windows XP and Windows 7 and it works perfect, so, it's really complicated to say what you could do.

It could be a too low internet conection or you look in cities in which are no 3D Buildings...

  • i dont know how to make them 3d in mine =(

  • heres how redshagy:see the layers panel?if you do open it and check 3d buildings:photorealistic

  • my 3d thingy doesnt work sometimes

  • looked real for a minute

  • I have the same problem-it just doesn't work. I click the 3d buildings and nothing happens. I have the newest version and have reinstalled it several times. Please help.

  • yea im clicked but nothing!

  • I don't know... Possibly the Internet connection is too bad...

But i think you should uninstall Google Earth and download the newest Version...

To save "your places", you have to click right at "own places" and select save as...

  • WOW i love google earth truly amazing!

  • please help me,when i launch google earth 5 it tells me that google earth cannot connect to server, i think its my firewall(windows xp firewall) what should i do please?

  • @martinheck1 Google Earth is a great test for video cards. what's yours?

  • @teemuruskeepaa My actual graphics card is a MSi Radeon 5770 Hawk... I realy like Google Earth with that card...

But i filmed that video one year ago with a old GeForce 6200 with passive cooling...

So it already works with such a small garphics card...

  • @martinheck1 I have GMA950 chip on a Laptop. New York gives me at worst about 0.7 fps

  • @teemuruskeepaa Ok thats not enough :-)

  • @martinheck1 Yours is around 7 fps

  • @teemuruskeepaa Why should it be around 7fps ??? I would say in the video it's around 20 fps... Not really smooth but enough. Possibly your video playback is bucking ??

    Anyway...

  • im cant watch 3d building in my g earth !

  • Check if you have the latest version of Google Earth. And click in the sidebar the "3D-Buildings Icon"

You can deside between fotrealistic and grey buildings...

  • you should pay for the new google earth 5 only the trying version is 7 days

  • IT HAS FREE

  • Good Job!

  • absolutely breathtaking!
