i wish they had a way to transplant muscles , i would donate in a minute, just to hear more greatness again ,and im a guitar player myself, id still do it
@antimatter07 I cry too, but only to that song and altitudes. Don't take my word for it but i guess it's Ok to cry to good music. (Any other occasion you got to tough as Chuck Norris.)
@antimatter07 That song is indeed a great song. I think what makes altitudes so sad to me is that it is the first song yhat I heard from jason. I tought it was the best song that i had ever heard (I still beleive it to this day). Then, My friend told me rigth after the song what happened to Jason. Being a guitar player myself, I can only imagine what it is like.
This is beautiful! There's a wonderful element of quiet energy to this song. The theme of rain fits, because the song reminds me of that subtle tension in the air right before a storm hits. To me it's an exhilerating feeling.
"I actually wrote this on a rainy day, otherwise, I would have called it 'Cry.' I wasn't necessarily sad, but feeling emotional for the suffering people in the world. My guitar is honestly crying. You can hear it. I recorded it at my friend/producer Mike Bemesdorfer's home the first time we met in 1988. Then Dan Alvarez did all of the surrounding music, based loosely on my simple keyboard part."
- Jason Becker's introduction to this song on his website
Would you guys get it straight?! Jason himself plays this song, as well as "Blue", "Primal", "Empire", and "Meet Me in the Morning", he says so himself on his website forums, not to mention in the liner notes for the album "Perspectives", while the other songs were recorded by a few friends of Jason's, including MLF.
@ShinOnigashima I read on Jason's website that he recovered 3 muscles, maybe he will recover more and will come back to normal. He sais that one woman had complete recovered . you can read more on his website.
Yes, he has recovered already three muscles, and that his condition is getting better, And I just read about that woman who recovered completely... so yeah, JASON WILL RECOVER NO MATTER WHAT!
@rablaa1 Where'd you read that? I looked through the site but couldn't seem to find anything about him recovering muscles. God I hope he recovers them all though, but I don't think a full recovery is possible with ALS with out current medical equipment and abilities :(
@rablaa1 never mind, I just found the part about him recovering. Its amazing, I wonder if h'ell ever recover to the point where he can play the guitar again.
@MonsterMetalMusic probably not. medicine is too slow. but it would be so cool if he would. it would take him years to recover his technuiqe on guitar. but lets hope he does.
@alexisd3 yeah man i can remember a woman(cant remember the name) who had Als for 3 or 5 years(maybe more or less) but she is okay now i think Jason knows that woman
@alexisd3 theres only one documented case of als recovery i saw it on a jason becker video wich stated that person gave hope to jb cause it was possible to recover from als.
I pray for the person that disliked this, because they are going to live through their life never knowing what music really is, they will never live a happy life...
@MrSuperstarsi oh, please shut the fuck up, you fag. Stop thinking your worldview is the right and beautiful one. I personally love Jason's music, but if I came across somebody who doesn't like him I wouldn't say such enormous, elitist statements like "oh, well you'll never live a happy life" He simply has an opinion/taste different than mine. What a fucking elitist fag you are and all the morons that agreed with you.
@rallyivan1234 CLARO...
The End of the Beginning"
