He has also accused passengers of similar acts in the past seeking financial compensation, in other words he is a con artist. Both Kane's will get off with little to no punishment because there are no facts to back up the cab driver's story.

im not suure what exactly happened, but i believe kane is and outstanding player. look how far he has gone with the hawks, there in the stanley cup finals! kane is a good player and that is what is most important in the nhl. im not surre who he is off the ice but i think hes incredible.

not to excuse his actions, but its a relatively small deal and to criticize him you must consider yourself perfect. Everyone who's watched this has done something illegal at some point in there lives and you are lucky you aren't famous because it will never be brought to light like it is for Kaner. The incident with Kane was never discussed to the point where anyone really knew if he threw punches or not. For all we know it was the cousin.

Actually their are people from my high school and where I live that are in professional sports plus the NHL. I also have 2 people from my family that were in pro sports. You speak as you know me? I would laugh if you met me in person.
Now that being said. I think Patrick Kane is overated because hell if you give anyone that is average alot of playing time your gonna add up on your stats. My opinion is hes not that great thats all. Sorry...

Very obviously he didn't feel sorry at all about what he did. He held the conference only becasue he had to (also told by his coach of course) and to save his career.

I'm a big fan of Patrick Kane, and of the Blackhawks. But, PK was being very immature, and obviously not thinking when he decided to attack the cab driver. Not saying that the cab driver did the right thing, either. I really hope this doesn't effect him in the season. The 'Hawks need the kid back... But think next time PK!

The victim is a 62 year old man, a senior who probably doesn't have a pension and is trying to make a living. He's not a criminal or a monster. He was allegedly beaten up by two young, healthy men. The victim is an alcoholic who has attended AA and might have been an unlicensed taxi driver but he's not a criminal. Kane injured a senior citizen over 20¢ and the now the Blackhawks have him as their star player. Chicago Blackhawk don't deserve this. They've suffered long enough.

He has also accused passengers of similar acts in the past seeking financial compensation, in other words he is a con artist. Both Kane's will get off with little to no punishment because there are no facts to back up the cab driver's story.
