  • Wth was that?

  • How can Powhantas speak English?

  • SINCE THIS IS DISCOVERY EDUCATION, IS THIS WHAT REALLY HAPPENED???? pls tell me ; )

  • @RaphaellaHeart87 Closer than Disney at least.

  • @FireStormBaller oh ok. Thanks :)

  • Is it true that the old john smith and the young Pocahontas had sexual ties? It says so on a comment below

  • @AMY1213141 i dont think so. its disney after all. pocahontas and john smith are just sweet lovers. but they really loved each other. dont get bother with the comments

  • @MoguMoguMagic thanks

  • I think I might like this better than the Disney version. It's a heck of a lot more accurate, that's for sure.

  • lol The pale face is MINE!!!

lol, that's what my sister said when she watched the disney version. ;)

  • In Disney johnsmith wants to be sexual but real life he waz older than Pocohantas

  • I think this movie tells the more real history of Pochahantas guys

  • @Kenshinsm It does and Disney never depicted her son on her voyage to England because they wanted a bit of a love triangle in their sequal

  • I claim the pale face hes mine :D (I lol'd so much)

  • Typical British history... Taking what doesn't belong to them.

  • there's always going to be innaccuracies with this series, but overall, they have the majority of the information right, and they make it feel much more real, as if you were there yourself. which is the point. to make it accessable for children. great job naturelover!

  • Well ultimately via Manifest Destiny we did indeed take over America. Imagine if Pocohantas came after the blade? Would we be here

  • This is rediculous.. this makes Powhaten look like a monster, when in reality, John Smith wrote saying he was a good man, who offered much land once he became accustomed to the british settlers. The tribe had decided to kill Smith NOT for fun, but rather as a ritual to make up for one of their own who had been killed. Smith was not seen as her "brother", it was known of their sexual ties. Pocahontas had also not "claimed" him, she threw herself on him and spoke of peace alone!

  • That Union jack flag was very half assed

  • Which one is older? This one or the disney?

  • i like the disney version more,

    who agrees?

  • didnt john smith and pocahontas date?

  • @archuletarox123 They did have a romantic and sexual affair, But they can't show that I guess 7-7 Screw this, I'm watching the Disney one.

  • And let's be honest- the drawing of Pocahontas here is purposefully to look white compare to the "bad" Indians.

  • I hope no one actually thinks this is true. Just a romantic vision of how whites like to see Indian people.

  • her name was Matoaka and later Rebecca Rolfe

  • i hate the way they are potraying the chief he was actually very kind and forgived

  • I've heard she was only ten when she first met them. And, I know she has three names, Pocahontas is one of them, Rebecca is her English name, but I forgot what name she went by when she was little.

  • @shadowgirl9891 Matoaka

  • I'm really confused! And man aren't they just speeding this along! Dang!

  • NatureLover987 making no sence

  • @twilightkimfan

    'bout what?

  • He Must DIE

  • Comment removed

  • i thought pocohanutas was 10 yrs old the disney one made it seem she was older

  • In the Disney version,

Pocahontas's tribe were going to kilsl John Smith when he got accused of murdering an indian warrior!

  • @cecboydkj disney lies. we don't even know if John Smith was almost killed like this, it says so in his diary and that pocohontas (who was just a little girl at the time) came up and saved him, but john smith was known for stretching the truth, so we can't be sure if what he writes is true or not.

  • Pocahontas' dad was so right bout everything

  • i read that Pocahontas and John Smith became lovers (no my sourses are not Disney) thats kinda creepy all of a sudden *shudders*

  • @warriorwoman4ever but she was 12 and he was god knows probably as old as her dad is that really true? creepy sends goosebumps down my spine

  • @cheeseycow19 yea actually that part is true and yes it is creepy but in defence of Pocohontas back in those days all girls were getting married and having kids at that age

  • wtf. This is bull!

  • then don't watch it

  • @NatureLover987 don't mind his comment. he just wants to piss people off

  • What? in the movie john falls in love with pocahontas wtf?

  • @socute4any1 the disney version of the story is a load of crap

  • I didn't know that there is another version except for the Disney version. This one is interesting! How old is this movie?

  • hmm. i've never seen this version before.

  • thx for subsicribg :)
