i dont see anything good about autioning rare species, and auctioning new-to-science species for pets sounds to me as something that should certainly be ilegal (even if u use the internationale to defend it).
Animal rights I support 100%, but the blowhards don't understand what rights are. Rights are not a cross-section of whatever situation would be naturally occurring in a creature's; they are an invention of civilization that mandates fair treatment for people, and for animals. Nature is red in tooth and claw; pets tend to have a great life.
The "Animal Rights" blowhards really ARE going way too far, and it's even worse to know that some politicians are listening. (Looks like America's isn't the only government that's gotten fucked up.) I reckon these are the same stupid assholes who think that nature is necessarily benevolent and captivity is necessarily evil, the same ones who wanted Knut killed, and the same ones who said it was cruel to show a live chicken in a fast food commercial. Yeah, they're dicks. [Continued]
As always the CFZ does wonderful work, and I wish you all the best of luck in 09... and I hope to be able to donate some time, I also hope to see more expiditions this reason
I luv this guy & his Brit-Lingo.
It adds a bit of Pa-nosh to the whole Bigfoot conundrum.
And I agree He does indeed look like Bigfoot. ha ;-}
