While the BBC reports suggest that the US are acting as impartial brokers of a peace deal.
You're saying FOX News makes their bias obvious? 'Fair and Balanced'. 'We report, you decided'. Just because most educated viewers could tell their bias a mile off doesn't mean it's there for ALL to see.
Other than that, you're obviously a very articulate person, and you put the story over quite well, but I've afraid that without any specifics at all, it carries about as much weight at the opinions of some bloke down the pub. Not saying it's not true, but this hasn't really convinced me...
@CaptainTangent I would never dare imply that my opinions are any better than "some bloke down the pub", indeed, my opinions are usually significantly less qualified, and carry even less weight!
It's just that there's very few libertarians like myself who actually work in the UK broadcast media who publish their nut laissez-faire perspective. I'm hoping that more nuts start to do it, preferably smarter ones than me who can qualify their point of view in a better way!
The word Libertarian originally (and still does) belonged to a long Anarchist tradition before the americans bastardized it and now that use seems to be sneeking into the UK.
Libertarian Socialists like myself want to see the end of private businesses and corporations as they are intrinsically undemocratic and exploitative. Corporations are private tyrannies.
If you want to live somewhere with no govt and just corporations go live in the poorest areas of Africa.
Abolish the compulsory nature of the licence fee. Let those who wish to retain the BBC pay for it. As things stand, a huge number of people are being forced, under threat of imprisonment, to fund a bloated, bigoted monster whose outpourings they find abhorrent. That cannot possibly be right!

Impartiality is impossible in news broadcasting. Choosing what items to broadcast, for how long and in what order are inescapable acts of bias.
The question is "what do you want a news channel's biases to be?"
I think it's pretty obvious that most people want a news channel with a pro-democracy, pro-freedom of speech, pro-egalitarian "agenda".
However this is not what the BBC is. To take one example:
