I appreciate your comments, I dont think we should categorize south american women as women that only look for hard working men because trust me every girl is different...they are gold diggers as well...as for me, I was born in Miami...my parents are from colombia and I know what a hard working man is and I like those kind...My husband is turkish descent and its not like I chose a type to marry...he is what I like...a hard working man that wanted to settle from the beginning ;)
Of course there are gold diggers among South American women but in my opinion, the percentage of materialistic women in the US is way higher than in South America. You have to consider American culture is materialistic and not spiritual while South America is just the opposite, people have religion, traditional values, collectivistic ways. Therefore, it's easy to understand why SA women make better wives, mothers, professionals, etc.

See I don't expect a woman to do anything for me. Machismo is kinda like a thing where the man feels he is the superior being who earns the right to come home and be expected to be waited on hand and foot. See before I ever get married I wanna learn to cook because I don't want my wife to feel like I expect anything of her, just to love her. I get lazy though too but it doesn't mean I expect anyone to do my work for me.

Machisimo is responsible for the instability of Latin American economies as well as governments.

Thanks to machismo, mothers used to stay at home and teach values to their children. Children would grow up feeling loved as well as having values and manners. If you look at American youth (gangs, no values, no manners, empty soul) you will see the result of feminism. By the way, feminism was invented by the US government to get the women to work and be able to tax them. Women are actually being exploited by feminism and society is experiencing a moral decline thanks to it.
