Starting java hello world

Hey, when i use 'javac' is always says this:

C:\Documents and Settings\MICHAEL SIMONSEN>javac

'javac' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file.

Any help?

Guys, you can see on the upper right of the screen the explication of this demo.

This is supposed to show you how to compile and run a java application.that's all.You have to donwload and install the last java developpement kit then make sure your system knows where to find the binaries to launch the compilation command.And once you're done with the installation of java here is this vid that shows you to compile and run.
