Thats interesting that there is no word for privacy in Japanese. Whats the state of surveillence/privacy like over there? I mean how do you feel about it?
The technology is avaliable man! Facial recognition databases are a strong possibility and have already been suggested to UK govt, but rejected (this time). ANPR automatic numberplate recognition is already in place; a database to track cars anywhere they go and automatically issue speeding tickets, set off alarms if the car is stolen etc.
who is big brother?
comment: don't these spies have anything better to do? Maybe computers and cameras should be blocked from these bored with nothing to do spies.
