The reason Vader never uses force lightning is because it would break the circuitery of his suit and he could die. That s why the emperor has an advantage on him. When Anakin (AKA Darth Vader) lost the battle with Obi won he lost all of his limbs and thus greatly reducing hi power with the force. Lucas has stated that in his current state Vader only has 80 % of the emperors power, but would he not have lost his arms and legs he would be twice as powerful as his master, making him the most powerful jedi throughout history... quite a pity I must say losing his arms and legs like that...

Vader dropped him down a fucking shaft in the sixth episode, he's fought with him before, but couldn't bring himself to kill him because they were friends, this isn't what would happen in a fight between them, this is what would happen if there was some sort of game...that had a skin availible as the emporor...and it used that games fight between the main charecter and his master....huh...weird...
