NBC cheaped out on the Special Presentation bumper this year. It doesn't even say "NBC Special". It just has the Peacock and then "portions pre-recorded" below it, and it's in the current BG used for this year's promo campaign!
This is by far, the cleanest version of the NBC Special animation from this era, I've seen....(You wouldn't happen to have the 83-84 version of this intro, with the same animation, but with the "Be There" Music?)
No, I don't have the "Be There" version of the NBC Special bumper. This one came from my SuperBeta original recording of the NBC 60th Anniversary show from 1986.

Yes, the animation is from NBC's 1983-84 "Be There" Campaign.
