  • Ya know, considering how Rock and Roll are brother and sister at least in the original series, which I remind you the majority of the program cast of .EXE was based on, this video is kinda disturbing.

  • @ViewtifulDevil: Well, I consider .EXE and the original Megaman to be different things. While they are brother and sister on the original, they are not in the .EXE series and also in Megaman Legends they are not even related and is widely know that Roll (at least in Legends) has a thing for Megaman. I honestly rather have them being a couple, they look good together.

  • @VampyricalCurse

Yea I like the Trigger X Roll sceens you could get by sneeking into the Ladies room durring missions.

  • @VampyricalCurse In Legends I'd admit she is not related to him and has a thing for him. But in EXE it seems that she is not his sister but also has no romantic interest in him. So this pic, being of EXE, is kinda ironic. xD It's a nice bit of art still.

Tho I'm not sure how they can "look good together". Shouldn't anyone look good together if they like each other? ): It seems most of these fan-couples are people just wanting 2 characters 2 be together cuz they like those 2 characters. XP

  • @Axxidous: Well, I didn't really picked this picture for anything than to represent the song, I was just putting it there as a representation of a remix I made of the original song. But, tell me, who other male character do you think roll is singing this sing about? I am pretty sure she isn't a lesbian. In EXE she does have a romantic interest in him but EXE is more directed to kids so this is subtle. This interest is further insinuated in the fact that Roll belongs to the girl that LAN likes.

  • @VampyricalCurse No one. xD A lot of Japanese songs are about love... even when they don't sound like it melody-wise... even when they're intros to a series that doesn't focus on romance and the intro video itself has nothing to do with romance. Heck, a lot of the times Japanese songs translate into not really making all that much sense or relating to anything at all and are just a song just to sound good despite it's unrelated meaning. xD Not saying this is the case tho. =P

  • @Axxidous: Yeah but, don't you think is a little weird this would be used as Roll's theme? Why would she be singing this to a "he"? Roll is not a musician, a poet or song writer, she is just pouring here feelings for a mystery "he" where she hurts for being unable to let him know. This would suggest that she might think these feelings are wrong because they were always like brother and sister, but now she feels differently. Megaman is clearly not very interested in love thus it hurts her deeply.

  • @VampyricalCurse No I don't think it's weird. I just told you the kinda stuff happens all the time. XD And you're right. She's not a musician. Those who are in love with someone don't automatically have the ability to sing a song about that person just cuz they like them. It's just a random song that's meant to sound good and sound "deep". Obviously. "hurts for being unable to let him know". A bit too unecessarily deep for the franchise. lol Being LIKE brother and sister doesn't make it "wrong".

  • @VampyricalCurse Tho I don't think that the thing you said about Lan really insinuates anything... since... MegaMan/Rock and Roll are not the same people as their owners. =P

To be honest in EXE I don't think they really have many deep feelings at all come to think of it. They had very simple personalities. But this could be because they were just programs and didn't actually exist. (They're like Digimon! 8D Wait... Digimon had feelings. O-O lol)

  • @Axxidous: One more thing. Megaman is not blood related to Roll either. As far as I know, the Original Megaman story tells that Megaman was about to die and Dr. Light had no choice but to save him by making him a, well... a Megaman. Roll is only his "sister" cos they grew up together but they are not blood related. Dr. Light MADE Roll as a house keeper to help him with the lab. There's nothing wrong with her loving him in ANY of the Megamans... There's a lot of misconceptions about this.

  • @VampyricalCurse Yeah I thought they were like cyborg robot thingies or something. XD

I didn't say there was anything wrong with it. o_O I'm just saying it's possible either way that she does or doesn't. There's evidence that can support both, but no action toward it. It's not really a subject highly focussed on to allow it to develope either. XD I was just stating that I find it odd the reasons people are fans of certain couples is kinda.. shallow. o_O

  • @Axxidous: Oh and I am not fanboy, this was just one more song I felt like making. ;) I don't think it's shallow, at least I am not being shallow, I was just saying they do look good as a couple. Some couples even if they are good looking, do not look good together.

  • @VampyricalCurse No I meant I think a lot of people are fans of couples because it's just 2 characters they like. XD (In Avatar: The Last Airbender, there are so many fans of Katara and Zuko as a couple... despite the fact that Zuko has a girlfriend and Aang, the main character, has liked character the entire series. xD Another example would be Grimm-Jow and Orihime in Bleach... Orihime is the kind and caring type who has a crush on the main character. Grimm-Jow is evil and a womanizer. lol)

  • @Axxidous: This song is always linked to the Original Roll (old-school one) this furthers the theory why it is so hard for her to tell him such things, the whole brother and sister thing + Megaman not interested in her that way. Also, in EXE, the fact that Rolls belongs to LAN's crush, do not refer directly as saying that Roll or EXE are the same as their owners, this just expressed as a metaphor or this bond.

  • @VampyricalCurse I don't see how someone not being interested in someone should be hurtful to that person. How are they supposed to know? XD Why would people expect the person they like to automatically, coincidentally or psychically know to like them back? That's why people ask people out. Just like Dating is basically a test to see of the person is worth marrying instead of just marrying on sight. XD

This "metaphor" seems to be an assumption though.

  • @Axxidous: Robots, or executables cannot feel as humans do, this is also why each of the artificial intelligences in this series have a similar human counter part, this is VERY noticeable with Gutman and his owner. The AIs here are the alter egos of the human counterparts, a kind of avatars, if you will. EXE is even LAN's dead brother. So metaphorically speaking, yes, they the same person in a different universe.

  • @VampyricalCurse No not really. In EXE they're programs, not robots. They can also be "programmed to" immitate expression and emotion. It's also an unrealistically fictional series so anything goes in whatever logic the creators make for them. I was just pointing out the representation of their behavior. XD MegaMan lacks personality compared to Lan. It also differs from his. They're not really the same person at all. They're just a similar style, hence the reason they're compatible.

  • @VampyricalCurse Btw, you are randomly very defensive about this point and I'm not quite sure why. XD I don't really think it's a big deal or worth discussing. But my OCD won't let me not respond to anything unless I see the comment as an ender anyways. =P

But really, I think we should just drop it. We don't exactly have a goal in this convo. xD

  • @Axxidous: Nah, I am not being defensive... I took this opportunity to clarify that Roll is no way related to Mageman by blood, therefore there's nothing wrong with the picture I picked for this video, I think it's fitting for many reasons. So next time someone asks I just have to say "read the comments". In the end, anybody can interpret the song or any of the Megaman series in anyway they think is more reasonable, but I had a reason for this picture to be picked and it's clarified.

  • I do not remember this episode of Megaman.EXE.

  • I love this. <33

  • Thank you xD. I'm glad you like it.
