  • Nice fish!! What did it weigh?

  • when was this and was it in the sound

  • @davidlahaye57 No South Shore out of Moriches inlet 50 to 60 feet of water :)

  • hahah bluefish throw up all the time! i remember i caught one and it spit out a fresh squid, so i used it and caught another nice blue

  • @fishingfreak134 Yeah they throw up bait all the time and I have re used some to catch more too.

  • how much did it weigh?

  • @jawsflounderace I think it was 12 or 13 lbs what a good fight they put up

  • @stpaul7 Do you let the jig hit bottom an reel up or did you surface it? Thanks...just went on a bluefish trip on a party boat tried AVA jigs but no no luck...caught 4 on cut bait..

  • what kind of rod and reel set were u using(Daiwa)?

  • @AznKiddSam Not Exactly Sure it's either a Daiwa or a Penn with 30 lbs Braid. That was his own personal rod and reel so I'm not sure

    *-*DeRsİmLi GeNcO*-*

  • nice blue, makes me miss livin in nj. now I gotta settle for chrome steelhead. check out my vid.

  • ehhh not to bad.... not a big deal though....i have never caught a bluefish under 30" i guess i just know where to fish :)

  • I just caught one yesterday... not even CLOSE to that size!

  • i got 36 inch

  • Yeah I Think they were all 10 to 12 lbs that day :)

  • @stpaul7 just aught a 30 1/2 inch blue today weighed about 20 lbs

  • my brother caught a bluefish that was the exact same size as yours and it only weighed 10-11 pounds

  • nice chomper

  • max 11-12 pounds...

  • Pound for pound bluefish are the hardest fighting fish that swims

    I AGREE with that!!!

  • @stpaul7 ...naw....stripers are stronger.....a 12 inch striper's fight is equivalent prob to a Big Blue. I 'va had a 1 lb striper feel like a 5 lb blue

  • @stpaul7 you obvously have never caught an albacore

  • @jdoum1096 Caught Many of them even from the shore. :)

  • @jdoum1096 blue fish are great fighters but dont underestimate the power of the mighty lil bluegill...lol

  • @stpaul7 belive it or not the bluegill fights better pound for pound than any other freshwater fish

  • @skater2be bluegill? LOL!

  • @stpaul7 Also one of the meanest. these bastrds will bite anything that comes near em.

  • @stpaul7

    Cant compete with bluegill!!!

  • Pound for pound bluefish are the hardest fighting fish that swims.

  • Nice blue haha I've been catching a butt load of smallerblues these days... They don't show up in blitz as much

  • lol dude not 20 pounds.

  • @FishOnFishing Don't know we let it go???

  • @stpaul7 oh, thats good

  • i love goin for blue fish out in ocean, or in Jamica Bay

  • yo when u catch a real 32"er off the beach u can talk! sure do wish i had a boat though

  • That looked like a tough battle, I hope there were no extra holes made in the net, those blues have some serious choppers.

  • WATCH those fingers, yu kno blue fish like to steal them XD

  • ive caught blues that size on live bunker in september and october inshore on a dock alot of fun

  • That day we were using Diamond Jigs and Buck Tails

  • @stpaul7 My biggest fish was on a diamond jig but no one believes me because it was to big to be true, it was 50 inches in CT.

  • Benny's trying to fish

  • Nice size. YOu can catch these off the pier and surf from time to time.

  • not that big, looks like a hog though

  • i caught 12 of those back in april off the coast of ft. lauderdale

  • Pretty Nice Fish But I Caught B:igger

  • amazing fish, pal!

  • Whats even more amazing is that sometimes people use umbrella rigs to catch multiple bluefish that are a little bigger than that one, that kind of experience covers cardio and weights combined!!

  • i've caught upto 2 blues on a line using live mullet. pretty fun. same thing with macks, except using a line with multiple jigs.

  • Dude... that IS big you dont see alot of bluefish that big there little guy... If you did catch one it kicked the shit out of you
