you can't fully block your ISP. they will still know what your doing. but they won't be able to check all of the hundrends of thousands of each of their clients downloads. what happens is, companies that own the intellectual property (IP) check for their content in your Internet Protocol (IP) address which they then report to your ISP. trust me you can never hide from your ISP, everything you do runs through their systems under your account name and default gateway.
Wow. You know your disclaimers are useless when you show yourself illegally seeding a movie and a video game at the end?
Also, as has been stated, get rid of all those toolbars. Christ. Learn to uncheck boxes in installers. They're a huge system drain and often contain spyware and adware.
Thank you great advice. To all those who download via torrents from time to time, please make sure you have Peerblock or a similar program as something is always better than nothing. I didn't know about IBlocklist but have downloaded some of the suggested lists and everything is fine.
I really owe you almost 200,000.00$ for saving my ass. Iv been downloading movies for awhile and i really believe you have just saved me hundreds on piracy fines and such. thank you and keep up the good work.
Wow, so many toolbars, and explorer, made me soo sad ;(
