I did not watch it full, but if you want to add some still images and make a motion video ? you can try windows utility "Windows Movie Maker". You can also add Audio track to it and control the delay of each frame.

instead of changing the time of the gif when its saving you can do it by simply editing the name of the file and add (####ms) and the number you put will be the delay time for that certain frame
