well, you can handle it with care, you can glue it, but i recommend only small drops of krazy glue on the corners of the caps, key word is CORNER AND SMALL AMOUNTS!! (i glued my megaminx cap to a screw, which luckily i had another cube4you screw n spring. make sure there are no pieces touching it, and if anything, stick a small piece of paper (showin in james [cube4you's] 3x3 assembly tutorial on the forum) into the centre and then itll be harder to take off.
yeah. after i assemble it, i usually leave the centres off, with any puzzle, so i can adjust it, if its too loose i tighten and i keep doin it till its perfect then i disassemble, glue the caps down, test the rotation of the centres, then re assemble and sticker and mess up and solve =p

how do you keep the caps from falling off without gluing them in?
nace112 2 years ago
Glue them in.
Don;t use tack, it goes in the screws and gets really annoying.

what about when i have to adjust the tension? i know i could set it before i glue them. but what if i have to change the core or something?
nace112 2 years ago
use elmers glue. its like the white glue. it will hold it strong enough and it will be easy to get to the core again

ok thank you that really helps a lot. that was the only issue that really bothered me on the gigaminx.(besides the turning)

You know when there is a six minute sticker video that this puzzle is going to be pretty beastly. Now how do you solve it?
Like a 5x5?
3DaysTillGrace 2 years ago
You solve the centers, then edge pair.
