  • Im more confused than ever

  • @604maximus12 I have an Improved Video Tutorial Library available with better Audio & Video Quality that go into greater detail on my channel. When this was made this video the audio was recorded at a low volume. I will be more than glad to assist you in anyway possible. Again check my channel for The More updated library of Video Tutorials with Improved Audio Quality and a more indepth insight.

  • @kpkopo You are correct I had the same issue , goto the avid website and download the free 8.5 update this will fix all issues. It runs so smooth on 64 bit o/s. the only problem i have had is when recording my screen only cause i need a better video card but that is outside of protools area. M-Powered just means it runs off of an M-Audio powered device so your fast track is perfect. I use the M-Audio Audiophile USB Hope that helps

  • Great vid Dro! Thanks for the info. And btw, what screencasting software are you using? All the zooms and boxes were really helpful.

  • @damondrick Im using camtasia , I have a better mic on my newer vids The Audio on this I recorded way low

  • @DigitalMuzick I Dont See Anything That Says Download

  • I Want The Download!!

  • @ItsMarvelousTV Go to the Avid website

  • @ItsMarvelousTV Just go the avid website for an instant downlaod I had bought mines new in the box. I have an iLOK for mines

  • M-box2 is super perfect for Pro Tools :)

  • yo wht interface was you using? can u use mbox 2 in m-powered 8??

  • @apegraduate2007 Yes you can use the M-Box or M-Box 2 The Avid website has all of the Hardware Interfaces that are compatible with Pro Tools 8.

  • @YoungVertt Usually where you buy any musical equipment from , Stores like Guitar Center , Zz Sounds Etc.

  • hey how did you get protools

  • @southernwaynesaint I bought it from guitar center.

  • thanks for the tip man really appreciate it!

So could i send you an mp3 of one of my songs?

i just wanna the quality after you add thoses plug ins and drum kits.

  • @JinxMusik yeah hit my inbox and ill check it out

  • I have Pro Tools 8 m powered but when i upload the finished product, the quality isnt that great. It isnt bad, but it isnt great. Is there effect that would make my music sound like a higher quality?

Btw i use the M Audio Producer Mic. :)

  • @JinxMusik To get the best sound quality possible I would recommend starting with a good sound card , whether USB or internal. A good pair of Studio Quality Monitors and cables can let you hear wheat you have been missing. Always use High Quality drum kit sounds, Instruments and plugins. on a budget? you can still get great results with good plugins and a good mix. Remember you can always use parallel compression,Gates , and a High Bit Depth. I have drum kits if you need that high quality KNOCK

  • @JinxMusik Also some good external gear will help boost those mic signals such as a good Pre amp and Mixer. Pop Filters are great for keep those signals clean and clear and getting rid of plosives. External compressors are also great to help improve quality , but if you are on a budget a good plug in suite or knowing how to use the free ones with Pro Tools can make a big differance. Pro Tools M-Powered 8 is VERY POWERFUL DAW software. learn those plugins and how to CHAIN and BUS them <---;)

  • hi there i got a question if u don't mind helpin me with My pro tools doesnt wanna start it tells me i need to enable the playback or record in the workspace area but it isnt workin can u help me

  • @redmase1 It sounds to me if it will not start you do not have Your sound card turned on. Pro Tools 8 and lower needs a sound card or USB sound card to start. For Example an M-Audio Audiophile USB or an M-Box Mini OR if its on look to the top and select WORKSPACE ( ALT, ; ) then make sure you have the " R " selected that for record and playback you will also notice T for transfer all this be found under A for audio the V is for video hope that helps if not let me know ill make a vid on it :)
