Melodic side? They went pure sugar... DT is still melodic as fuck, and there are lots of ultra melodic bands out there that don't sound all happy, sugary, major key BS like In Flames does now.

I remember buying Reroute... worst album ever, because they'd have an amazing harmony, melody, riff, etc, and then make me want to puke with their stupid "uplifting" choruses and such. 'Trigger' is the only decent track.

And yeah, now they sound very emo to me... can't stand them at all.
