Also Matt Cooke was suspended so he couldn't play. So really all this game did was prove that the Islanders can beat and beat up a pretty good AHL team. Maybe they should drop down to that league. The Atlantic Division is full of great rivalries but none of them include the Islanders.

A Russian hockey league (KHL) match had a world record of 619 penalty minutes.
