yes the go cam works with skype..but ONLY the mic.. so ot turns your psp into a phone basicly.... video chat was possible with GoMessenger.. But they pulled it..it's dead. but skype works fine.. hardly use it though. and for surfing the web.. try the mobile versions of those pages (if they have 'em) that should help. And youtube on psp is a youtube problem NOT psp ;-) google video used to work fine they made special versions available for psp.

dang no video chat huh, well i was hoping the psp would have full video chat and it would replace my crappy pc setup. cmon sony make a better device oh its so close but not quite up to par. well at least i can use the go cam to record videos and pix. and are there any streaming video or audio sites that have stuff that you can play on your psp? I found a couple but they obly play grainy clip of songs so that shows that the psp can handle low fi mp3s but not stuff like myspace or seeqpod

... PSP had a video chat service.. but it's dead because nobody used it.. it was called Go!Messenger and worked on the old PSP and the faster new PSP. So what CPU power has to do with it.. i don't know. My Sony phone is less powerfull then a psp but also has video chat... so again if skype wanted to.. they could.

the PS1/PS2/PS3 controller has 2 more buttons.. so most games won't work on PSP just for that reason.

To have all the things you like on your PSP.. You need to get a PS3 (60gb version) and everything you ask for works ;-) (youtube, some ps1/ps2/ps3 games, music, video...) with remote-play

funny enough.. the psp has more cpu (300MHz vs 333MHz) then a ps2 .. it makes them both as powerfull... However.... PSP has UMD and the UMD is too slow.... but that isn't the biggest issue. I don't see how sony is gonna rework all games to work with 2 buttons less. So here's my prediction... PSP2 will have an R2 and L2 button and no more UMD.. then i don't see why sony wouln't putt all games online for sale on PSN for PSP. Does mean you'll have to buy those games...again.
